I know a lot of you have been trying to decide which backgrounds to get as part of the April special. I hate to start the same thread over and over again but... I just can't decide and would like your input.
My choices are: French Script, Crosshatch, Linen, Print Pattern. I narrowed it down to these 4 but I can only get 3. Which 3 should I get? (I only own Canvas and Popular Plaid (I know, I know, how do I make any cards with just those).
My 2 cents are for sure Print Pattern and French Script! Linen is somewhat similar to Canvas so for that reason I would say Crosshatch. BUT on the other hand Linen might not be available after the end of May... soo yeah, I 'm not much help in deciding between those. All of them are awesome and I'm sure you will be happy with whatever you pick!
I'd have to advice French Script and Print Pattern for sure (probably my 2 most used BG stamps) and probably Linen. I have crosshatch and I find it kind of hard to use, but I really love my Canvas and look forward to getting my Linen on Friday!!!
What kind of stamp sets do you have? Try to see what would go best with what you've got, and what isn't covered by the backgrounds you already have. That's how I made the choice b/w Houndstooth & French Script!

I tried to decide on just three...
and ended up with six. Oops. Oh well, luckily in my stamper's 10 club this month is my month to be hostess, so I'm kind of lucking out! :P

I ended up going with linen. Because, if you look in the gallery, there are so many lovely examples of it....and it does have a different look than canvas. I have canvas and love it. Canvas has more of an earthy, texture. You could, if you wanted to, make canvas look like burlap. Linen, is very much like a fine silk. Very different and would go well esp. with elegant flowers and such. Each to his own, but I decided, that I really did not LOVE Crosshatch....not enough to get it....and went with Linen...
