Default help with 6x6 pages

For all you that make the 6x6 pages can you advise if you are cropping your pics way down so that everything fits, I'm a 12x12 layout person and am having a hard time visualizing what the6x6 layouts really look like when done. I have looked thru the gallery and like the looks it just seems like the pics would have to be reduced or something, I do crop pics but normally not a lot.
TIA
Joyce

It depends... I've done both. If I really want to use the entire photo, I'll scan it into the computer and reduce it. But most of the time I crop the photo to focus on a single element. It's really not that hard for me to cut them up, because I often have a lot of "extras" in my shots. I guess I'm just not that good a photographer.

I also get creative with my presentation -- overlap elements, make little flaps, hide journaling, etc. Just about anything you do with 12x12 you can also do with 6x6.

I usually crop my pictures too I fell in love with the 6x6 pages but my main scrapbook is 12x12.

I have never reduced my pics. I usually crop them or just leave them as is. It took me awhile to get used to it, but now I think the albums are so cute! I really need to do more 6x6s!

I personally haven't done any 6x6 pages myself but couldn't you get them printed in 3x5 instead of 4x6? That would give you some more room without having to crop them.
