What ever you want! You can do all blank or a random assortment with a thank you a baby an anniversary etc so they have one for everything they need! Have fun with it.. I think 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 is a proper number depending on how "big" you want the gift to be!

I just finished up a gift set of 6 tonight. I made a female birthday, a male birthday, a thinking of you, a thank you, and two with no sentiments. I leave all the insides blank because I can't begin to guess what to put in them. Aubrey is right, there is no wrong way to do it, you are the creator so you get to choose.

If you have the Sincere Salutations set, that would be a good place to start. Pick 4, 6, whatever you'd like, and make a set of cards. That way all the sayings will match

I'm making sets of 8 assorted thank-you cards as gifts. I picked thank-yous because everybody needs those. I'm making some masculine, some feminine, some elegant and some that are just fun.

You could also make monogram cards if you have a nice alphabet set. I'm doing that for a lot of my relatives this year as gifts.

With Sincere Salutations...make up the salutation piece, put the double sided tape on it, but don't peel it off...make up all your cards, say 6, but make 8 salutations that your friend can select and put on the card herself. Does that make sense?? Maybe make one up to show where the salutation goes...but leave the rest up to her....just a thought. Rebecca

That is a great idea, Rebecca! I often make card sets for gifts (especially nice for older family members who already have "everything") and this would be a nice twist. Thanks for sharing the idea!

I would suggest using the sticky strip stuff that has a red peel off backing on it. That stuff adheres to everything and stays put!

I use double sided tape with a peel off backing...so it works perfectly..I get it from a scrapbooking store in London, on Hamilton rd, near Adelaide...

I am pretty sure Michaels and joannes or other craft stores would carry similar stuff...this is only $2.00 or so and the rolls are huge...REbecca
