I'd get Looks Like Spring--I just LOVE The quilted looking stamp and the diamond stamp---use em together for argyle--how cool is that?
My demo thinks they are going to come out with a jumbo punch to work with the large flower because she said at the convention they had them cut out all over the place and they were so uniform. She didn't think they were cut by hand. Who knows; she was only speculating. I like the flower punch that matches this set and I think the stamps are quite versatile. JMO.

I would agree that Looks Like Spring is the best stamp set in the spring mini. The look is so in right now and there is much that can be done with it. There are tons of samples in the gallery and it's only been available to demos for a couple of weeks! Can you imagine once everyone can get their hands on it?!

If I could only pick one, it would be Simply Said. I love the art style and the sentiments are sweet. I'm a sucker for daisies and hearts, and this set gives me both.
Looks Like Spring, which I also love, would be my 2nd choice due to the harlequin background and argyle combination.
I was fortunate that I didn't have to choose just one set, however, and got 3 + Dots & Daisies Background! Bad Julie!!! Bad bad bad!!!!

I can't seem to do a thing that looks decent with Simply Said. It's probably just me. I love that set - but everything I make with it doesn't look right?

Michelle, knowing your work, I say send your rejects to me! I'll take them! hee-hee!
While I LOVE Looks Like Spring (and will probably get it) the only thing I've ordered so far is the Linen Background. The mini does not do it justice. check out Michelle Laycock's gallery. This thing makes paper that really looks like linen!! Mine comes today!

Boo hoo...I still haven't seen the Spring Mini. :-( Anybody got a bootleg scan? ;-)

No. BUT, it should be online at www.stampinup.com on March 1st, and if you are on your demonstrator's mailing list, it's possible you will receive one in your snailbox within the next week?

I like several sets in the mini - Linen will be my first choice as I never got around to ordering Canvas. But if you are wanting a "set" than my 1st choice would probably be Simply Said. I have got so many Floral sets already but the Simply Said set would you give you more versatility with having the hearts and flowers - and I LOVE the stamp of the bunch of flowers. Then you also get the bonus of the verses.

All the sets have so much potential. It is hard to choose. I hate having limited resources. Oh well. Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts. I look forward to seeing your creations uploaded.
I am NOT going to be alot of help to you. Well I am lucking out for the Spring Mini. First of all my birthday is in March, and secondly I am the hostess in March for our SU club.
Have talked Mom and Sis into getting me Travel Sketchbook and It Looks Like Spring for my birthday presents.
Then on my hit list (in March thru May) I have the Flower Punch, the Daisy Field Roller, Graceful Words, Dots/Daisies, and Long Time Friend.
Sis is planning on getting Linen, God's Way, and The Envie Maker.
That leaves little between the 2 of us to gather out of the Spring Mini. We (my sis and I) tend to get a mini and go thru it together, deciding who is getting what sets. This is the first time we had soooo many on our lists. The nicest thing of all is that I am applying for teaching positions near her (and one in fact team teaching with her). So no more borrowing for 3 weeks at a shot! We will be living in the same town, not 3 1/2 hrs away!!!!!
We always discuss each other's monthly orders and take turns back and forth sharing our stamp sets. This just simply doubles all we own! We try hard to not duplicate stamp sets (retired or current) but we both had to have our own Frosty and Lovely as A Tree.
Oh well.... here I went again and went off topic on one of my tangents....
Whatever you get from the Spring Mini will be great! It is the BEST MINI SU has produced in a long time!

I agree with Julie-I adore Simply Said-(got the bg a well.) I keep playing with it and when my buddy saw my samples on my stamp desk she loved it as well.
I think another reason I love it is b/c it has 2 sayings that I think are great- a thank you and a "friend is someone who makes it easy" which I adore.
I also like Unfrogettable b/c it is great for boy cards-something I think SU has been lacking-plus it has great sayings!
Looks like Spring is awesome as well.
But my 1st go to-Simply Said;)

I really want Looks Like Spring and the punch. It would be so great if they came out with that jumbo punch! If I could I would get the whole kit and kaboodle, papers and everything. I love how it all goes together.
Aaack - I HATE the Spring Mini. Or should I say, my wallet hates the spring mini! My first cut at an order totals over $75!!! (1 each of the papers, Looks Like Spring, Flower Punch & Linen). And that's not even counting my "B" priority items - Travel Sketchbook & the envelope template. At least the March special doesn't appeal to me at all and I have until the end of May to buy from this mini...
Arlene mentioned something that I didn't think of and that is my Birthday is in may and I know my mom and SIL will get me something. Now that I think about it -- I want to ask for the watercolor crayons too! Guess I'll have to prioritize. Maybe DH, DS and DD can get them for me for mother's day. HAPPY SPRING!!!
Does the entire Monogram Alphabet count as a set? LOL!
I vote for Looks Like Spring. No, wait.....Linen. No, wait.......Simply Said. Yes - that's the one. Simply Said.
