Default Help with Military Project

Ok all you SCS out there, I need help.

Our church has a ministry in which we keep people in touch with all of those men and women from our church. We encourage them to send letters, cards & packages and provide them with any help to get those items to the troops. We want to put out a brochure with all the information in one place for the convenience of people which will hopefully have them sending more and more stuff in a more timely fashion.

Here's what we need help with. We're trying to locate 8.5" x 11" paper that looks like theArmed Forces BROWN/KHAKI camouflage uniforms. So far all we have been able to locate is 50 cents a sheet. With the number of brochures we need to print, that's way too expensive. We really need to purchase it by the ream.

If anyone, especially all you wonderful military families out there, have any place that they know for sure sells the paper in this format (by the ream and in that color) can you please let me know? We'd really appreciate the help!

Donna

I get magazines from Idea Art and Paper Direct. They sell paper mainly to companies to do their mailing but they always have different themes. Hope one of those help.

Try calling to paper companies or talking to the place you found the paper. Let them know what you're doing and maybe they'll give you a discount--especially since it's a church involvement helping out the military.

It never hurts to ask.

When I was reading your post, I was thinking the same thing Tiffany posted. I believe that if you contact the store manager and explain your project, he/she will be willing to help with a discount. I am pretty sure that Hobby Lobby sells camouflage paper, but I'm not 100% on that. I think you may have a better chance if the store is a big store, not a privately owned scrap store. But it doesn't hurt to ask either way.

Good luck with your project. It is a good one!!
