I am making invites for a Stampin' Up! workshop using a theme of spring fever and I can't come up with a decent front!! :( I am just having stampers block and bad can any of you lovely ladies give me your honest opinion and what I can do to improve it.
I think you should also add a purple mat, same color as butterfly paper, under thr yellow or under the white strips. it will help anchor the saying and blend the butterfly piece. did that make sense? Its late.....

I'm not sure how many you need to make and how much time you want to spend on them, but what about doing crayon resist on glossy? That set looks great in crayon resist and you could do it in springy colors. I'm finding people are really wowed by that. You could do it in whole sheets and maybe even get 6 card fronts out of it (to be layered on colored CS)depending on how you do the card layout.
how about the purple add on could be with a circle or flower or spiral punch that says thursday april 14 (you could stamp or handwrite or use the computer font depending on what you have and which punch you have and how fussy you want to get)
Then you are using anohter have to buy and less of your cardstock and adding some "value" if you will to the card.
Maybe since you said the cards will be all different
you could miX and match the tops and bottoms with the words covering up the joint (inside and out) Is that feasible.
You need to figure out how many you are making and the most efficient use of your time..With all these layers another technique (aqua pen and glitter?
punched window with a dimensional? chalk inks and any thing might be a better use of your time
I just want to say thank you all that posted, I really appreciate your opinions. Unfortunatley, I just couldn't get myself "inspired" to do anything with that stamp set so I switched and this is what my cards look like now. Let me know what ya'll think if you don't mind.

this is what I was thinking, but I was going to suggest you use your crimper on the purple.
