Default Help needed with 25th Wedding Invitations!

I'm looking for some advice on making several 25th Wedding Anniversary Open House Invitations. My parents anniversary is in 3 weeks and I am having an Open House at my place. I really think I should "make" the invitations being that is what people are probably going to expect from me. Usually I don't have a hard time coming up with an idea....but I am stumped on this one!! ANY IDEAS OUT THERE? Thanks! Dawn

I found this quote on one of my favorite websites (www.quotegarden.com) It's a great resource for stuff like this!!!

True love stories never have endings. ~Richard Bach

Last year I made an invitation for a going away party for a close friend of mine. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers I just used one quarter of a page of cardstock for each invitation. I did the flowers and quote on the front and then put details about when, where, etc. on the back.

In my opinion this quote would lend itself well to doing a simple background using hearts then layering the quote on top. On the back you could start by saying something like "Please join us as we celebrate the story of (parent's names.) then list all your details. Just an idea hope it helps! And be sure to post whatever you come up with! We look forward to seeing it!

I made this card for my sisters bridal shower - I just pre-printed the vanilla cardstock on the computer and then added the ribbon and enbossed kanji. So easy, but they looked so nice. Then I embossed the kanji on chinese takeout boxes and put tea bags inside for favors...
Hope these ideas get the creative juices flowing!

Do you have their original wedding invitation? It would be cool to copy it and incorporate it into the card somehow.
