Hi, Kristi -- I can't answer your questions, but I'll bump your thread back to the top.

What software you are using? On a PC, you might have Windows Movie Maker pre-installed, and on a Mac you might already have iMovie. Let us know what program you're trying to edit your video with, and maybe someone with the same software will be able to help you out.

I've researched Windows Movie Maker but haven't actually used it. These two sites are in my bookmarks:

This is the Microsoft How To site for Movie Maker:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u...e/default.mspx

The next one is a tutorial that covers a lot of the basics. It's dated 2005, though, so it might not be up to date. It explains how to trim clips and how to add titles, too.
http://www.informit.com/articles/article.aspx?p=425381

I've launched Movie Maker, and down at the bottom of the left column menu there are Movie Making Tips for "How to Edit Clips" and "How to add titles, effects, transitions." That would be a good place to start.

Thanks for asking this, Kristi. I've been wondering about the same thing myself.
