So, here's my dilemma. Remember how it was cool to collect everyone's senior pictures when you were a senior in high school? Well, now I'm sorting through my photos to scrap them all and I've come across this stack of senior pics... Probably 40 of them! And of those 40, I think I only keep in touch with about 5 (ten years later)!
I'm debating over whether I should scrap them all, or just toss them if we haven't kept in touch. What are your thoughts???
Also - if I do scrap them... Any ideas on how to make it look decent with all those little photos without making it look like the year book??
I think I would scrap them on a 2 page layout....I did a page of pictures from an event dh and I attended where I had like 30+ pics and I used my square punch to punch them and do a mosaic look with all of them.
Colorblocking would be really neat, like 6 colors maybe? and alternating them in mats behind the photos?
DO NOT throw them away.Mine are all in a Senior book and anytime I'm feeling a little down or want a blast from the past...I just go back through my senior book and it makes me smile. At least you talk to some of your old classmates...I tried to avoid mine!!!!:(
I agree with not taking up more than a 2-page layout. Or you could use one page for the five you are still in touch with and put the rest into an accordian book or something. If you've held on to them this long, I'd keep them. You never know when you're going to run into someone and you and they will both be tickled to know you still have the picture!
Go for the yearbook look, complete with a title and alphabetical order! It would be a cute page. And I'd keep the photos--cause you never know when one of those old friends might run for president or Mafia don;)
Thanks for all the tips... I think even with the few replies I've gotten, I've decided at the very least to NOT throw them away! They do bring back some good memories! :o)
I'll keep you posted as to what sort of page layout I go with... Given the amount of pics, the whole yearbook thing will probably work best.
Alright, I'm a tosser - I say if you haven't kept in touch with them then maybe you should chunk them. I mean it's been 10 years. Definitely scrap the ones you are still in touch with though and any that you were very close to even though you may not still be in touch - they were important then. But I don't think I would scrap/keep them all.
But do what you feel is right - if you feel like you need to include all in the scrapbook then go for it. It's your scrapbook, just have fun with it.

I did a 2 page spread with all of the ones I had. I used the thumb tack stickopotomous (I know, I can't spell!!) stickers and used cork paper behind it. It tirned out cute!

I agree with MamaK...mats behind a square mosaic would look great.
But mostly I posted to say, Carri, your avatar makes my heart beat into my stomach! I've actually convinced my husband that if we have another son, his name will be Sawyer! Hot!
oh, do scrap book them...my kids get a big kick out of looking through our old high school yearbooks...hairdos, clothes and "did you actually date that guy, Mom?" Rebecca
