Default Help with sour cream containers

I put together a bunch of these yesterday and they are not staying closed. Ugh! I used the sticky tape when I made them. Any suggestions on how to keep them closed. I need to get these done and move on to other projects for my SIL's baby shower this weekend.

TIA

Karen

If you used teh redline Oh So Sticky tape and it is still not closing I would use 2 brads at each "pinched" end. They will keep them secure and closed.

Default sourcream containers

When I had to do a lot of them for a team I used a colored staple and it worked just fine.

Default Sour Cream

I have found it seems like a lot of it staying closed depends on where the "seam" ends up. I've glued and crimped and still had them popping open. I ended up using staples on the ends to keep some of them closed. But some stayed closed on their own. Like I said, I think it depends on where the seam ended up.

Also, would a lighter weight paper work better? I don't know...but it's a thought I considered.

I used scotch double-sided tape and crimped the ends. they held together really nicely.
