Question HELP! Swap Folp! What do I do?

Hey there ladies, hope you can help.
The swaps I have been hosting have been going wonderfully until the latest one. It is a 6x6 brag book swap. I haven't been able to get a hold of two of the committed swappers, the deadline has come and gone. I have not been able to get additional angels. I need to know the proper etiquitte now. Do I send the ladies who followed the timeline there swaps minus the 2 dbl layouts from the no shows? (meaning the y will be short their completed books). Do I have to put together the missing swaps? What are my option and what is the proper way to handle the situation?
FYI the ladies have been PM'd at least twice after the deadline, and I left a post asking them to contact me. Deadline for receipt of swaps was 1/5. Thank you in advance for any help!
Wendy

The most logical thing would be to send out the pages and return the extra pages to their original owners. This way, they can finish their book, [yes some pages will be the same] or they can make new pages themselves.

I would also put the question out to the whole group. See what the majority wants to do.

If you take option A, definitely email the no shows and tell them that they are out. It's been 6 days, but it's right after the holidays too. Maybe give them through the weekend.

Hope that helps a little.

If I was the host of this swap I would make up the pages that weren't done by the other members myself. All of your swappers will be looking for the whole book. Just explain to them why their pages might be a little late!

If I were in the swap, I would prefer to get it back sooner without the other pages. I don't think you should have to do all that extra work! But ask what the group prefers. Go with that.

Maybe you could make your rules about this ahead of time, then post them when you post your swap. If a person's pages aren't received by the deadline, state what you will and will not do. Then STICK TO IT! Most people want their pages back ASAP, and for all their time and energy spent having to get it to you on time, they should not have to wait because others drop out. You might want to read some of the rules the other hosts have posted to help you decide what terms you like. Then it's taken care of if it happens again and you know what you will do.

Good Luck!
