Thanks to everyone who posts the Viking codes but I don't understand how to do it! When I try to purchase the mono adhesive (even when I type in the AL5 code first), it comes up as $2.99. What am I doing wrong? Can someone help?
Thanks!
Beth
I feel your pain! I just ordered for the first time this week, and it was a little confusing. You need to put the code in through the promotional code box, not through the regular cart. Enter the code and the quantity and it should come up as $1.88 each. I was amazed though - I placed the order Thursday morning and the FedEx guy was in my driveway at 8:15 Friday morning!

As someone posted a while ago to my same question you had ... don't forget to go to Ebates.com first! That way you are earning money back off your purchases!
Ebates allows you to earn up to 25% rebates on items purchased on-line from participating retailers. If you haven't checked their site (ebates.com), you wouldn't know that they have 100's of retailers including Target and Barnes & Noble (3%), Comp USA (2%) and even VIKING (4%). Your rebate is automatic, if you access Viking through Ebates, and WON"T impact any other promo codes (you can still use those!)

If you want to also use one of the discount off of a certain size purchase coupons, though, you must enter the discounted item code into the catalog search box. Only one promo code is allowed per order, so if you enter the discount monoadhesive code into the promo code box, you cannot get, say, $20 off of a $50 order (not sure this offer is still valid -- example only). Also, the total order discount coupons are only good once.

That's what I did last night and I don't see the discount coming up even as I'm ready to check out and confirm my CC# information. The coupon is in my shopping basket but it shows 0.00... Do you actually see the $20 off somewhere during checkout or do you just have to assume it's there? Thanks!
Hi Becky,
I used QJ3-PRD20 ($20 off a $75 order). The other code I have is DZ4-PRD20 ($20 off a $50 order). When I entered it in (I put it into the product search box), it came up and appeared on my checkout but the $20 didn't come off of my total. I think it's because I had already used the code (thanks to you) for the discounted mono.
Don't know if this helps.

I've used a promo code for the discounted Prismacolor sets and one for $50 off $100 purchase together last week. So you can use more than one code at a time. The $50 didn't show up on my total so I called Viking and they gave me the discount.

I have used more than one promo code at a time on Viking. But I did have to call their 1-800 number to get it to work. The woman was very polite and helpful. The number appears on the website.

Cat, I followed your link and just signed up. Thanks for the info...win win for all of us! I get to earn $ back and you get a referral fee! Gotta love it!
I do not understand the viking thing at all. I have been to viking.com website and it looks to me like you have to be a business. Is this right?
Then when I have tried to order mono I don't have a clue what I am doing! Am I at the right website? I didn't see a promo box to enter the code in and when I got to the billing info it wanted a business name! Sorry to be so dumb! Thanks for your help!
LadyLinks, you do not have to be a business to order from Viking. Just go sign up for an account and you can do it without a business name.
As for the codes. If WL2 is the prefix code for the week, just put that in place of whatever you are looking to buy on Viking...say the mono, envelopes, or even a stapler. You don't have to put this code in the promo box. The code doesn't discount all items (ex. computer software), but it will discount quite a bit.
And FYI, the first time I ordered from Viking, I put the $20 off a $50 order in my cart, it showed up but the discount didn't. I called and the guy kinda laughed and asked me where I got this code. I told him I got it from a friend (already feeling like I was doing something sneaky) and he said, "Some friend! That code's expired." He did give me a $10 "low price guarantee" discount, but not the full $20. Sometimes it just depends on who you get on the phone.
Lastly, Ebates is excellent! I've gotten about $150 from them in the past year. You can get rebates at many more places than just Viking (Fossil for my sunglasses, Hanes for my pantyhose, Dell for my new laptop, etc!). If you haven't checked it out, you should! And yes, referring a friend gets you $5 in your account. I think that new accounts also get a free $5 if you shop within a certain number of days.
As you see from my signature, I am walking in the Tampa Bay 3-day this fall. My daughter and I am nearly 75% of the way to our goal, but we're still fundraising.
If you've not signed up for Ebates yet, please consider doing so this week!

If you sign up now, both you and me (if you use my email as a referral) earn an additional $5 after you make your first purchase!
All my Ebate checks go to my 3-day walk. So far, I've only donated an additional $25 from Ebates, but you can shop online and help too!
Thanks for your consideration! Follow this link for my referral: Ebates!
