Default Help? What is this technique?

Is there a name for the technique I used on the card below?
Wild Window by jennmcd at Splitcoaststampers

I would like to find more samples like it using different stamp sets. Do you know what I should be searching for? I made a template (directions from someone's blog) for the Wild Wasabi with the four circles punched out and the white is under the WW. I

I have no idea but I'm sure you can call it something like portholes, or aperture frames, or windows (small w, before Microsoft's lawyers get on to me...) . Whatever it is , it is very effective!

It's certainly a darling card, lol! I haven't heard of a specific "name" for it, and can't even see why one would be necessary to tell you the truth.

Are the animals on the inside of the card? It is hard to tell exactly what it is that you did in just 2 dimensions.

There seems to be a name or technique for everything so I thought that might help when searching.

No there aren't animals on the inside. The Wasabi is 4x4 that was created first as a template and then using the template by just punching out the circles through the circles on the template. make sense? It is attached with dimensionals over a piece of white that has stamping on it.
