Default HELP! wheel rubber is loose!

what do I need to use to glue it back? where it is joined it came loose and I tried wacky tack tape but it didn't hold the edge of the rubber down. what can I use to glue the rubber back to the plastic wheel?

thanks!

is this a new wheel, or even a fairly new wheel? that shouldn't happen. you should talk to the demo who sold it to you to see about a replacement.

if it is a non-SU wheel, i don't know. return it to the store??

sorry i don't have any otherideas - good luck with this.

agree with the above advice, but if it's older, etc, then adhere it with rubber cement.

I have never had that happen to a wheel but I have had it happen plenty of times to my stamps. What I would use is rubber cement--you put a coat of rubber cement on the rubber and then some on the area you will be adhering it and then let it dry to tacky and then put together. This should hold it but I realize that this is also on plasic instead of wood so if this doesn't hold it you may want to use something like Crystal Effects--that is a great glue to use for this as well. You can always call 1-800-STAMPUP and they are always very good about helping you out.

HTH!

I've repaired many a wheel where I didn't like the gap where the rubber met. You pull it off, apply the rubber cement, wait and then glue it down. Mine has held up great. YOu have to be careful though. Just do it once. If it pulls up or you get it wrong, remove the rubber cement that is on there before applying additional amounts of rubber cement.

Default twas the gap issue

I didn't like how it transitioned at the cut (it's the Makin'Tracks wheel). I failed to mention that it came loose because I helped it... But I will try the Rubber cement route

thank you all so much!!
