I was so excited! This is my first time, also to be published and my DH wanted to rush out and buy Simply Sentiments last night, but I had to tell him the issue isn't out yet with my card! I submitted several, but only 1 is going to be in the magazine. I will be cornering the market on all copies to share with my friends and family-so watch out!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This has to be sooooooooooo exciting for you. I was not familiar with that magazine, but looked them up on the internet. Would you recommend a subscription??
Oh Paula!!! I am so thrilled for you!!! Your work is just awesome and I look forward to seeing what you are going to have published!!! It is so cool to look in the crafting mags and see a name that I recognize. How cool also that your hubby is excited too! Kinda validates all those purchases in a way now, at least from my perspective! Enjoy your fame!

Simply Sentients is a magazine that's only been around since last year. I had never heard of them until about 6 months ago when I saw it at my LSS and picked it up. The pictures are done in beautiful color and I think it's worth the money. I would put a picture of my card to share with all if I had thought to take a picture of it before I sent it in!! I know, I was having a blond moment!!! Or Senior, but I perfer blond!!!
The next issue will be out in August. I've submitted several more cards for the fall issue and I'm working on some for the winter issue. Can't wait!!

How do you submit cards or projects to these magazines?? ~ was there a contest? How does this work? I've always wondered? If you get a chance and feel like sharing ~ let us know! There probably is a thread somewhere about this, but thought I'd ask you first.
Paula, have you gotten your issue yet? Where's your card?
My card is on the bottom near the staple on page 24 (maybe 25). They picked my no frills card that took longer to get everything together to stamp than it did to stamp it!
