Default Hint on covering Hershey Nuggets

buy Hershey Nuggets, NOT Hershey Miniatures. I never realized that there is a difference in their shapes, but there is. Guess I'll have to get rid of all those Miniatures somehow...

What is the matter with the Hershey\'s miniatures?? I love them! The shape does not affect the taste.

Maybe you're talking about something completely different, but somebody recently gave me a handmade box with wrapped miniatures inside. She used various coordinating designer papers to wrap the candies, so it looked really pretty. Of course, if you have another "use" in mind for the miniatures (wink, wink, gobble, gobble!), go for it!!

LOL, Joan!

I recently bought 2 huge bags of nuggets to use with my PT set. I have the tins, I have the chocolate, I have the labels, I have the stamps... what have I done? Open the bag and start eating the chocolate. I have yet to do the project it is all intended for.

Oh, I get it now. The label thing. How about wrapping 2 miniatures per wrap?

EAT THEM!!!

Yes, I use the "nuggets" all the time. In fact, I have 4 FULL 5 pound bags right now that are left over from my DH's open house. We have been eating them, using them in crafts, teacher gifts, etc. What should I do with the rest??? And, no, I am not going to eat them all!!

I don't know about 2 per wrap, but you can just eat the second one and wrap the first. I use address labels and stamp on those.

I'll help eat them. Can't let perfectly good chocolate go to waste.

Oh, I LOVE the toffee ones!! [wipes drool]

Last year, I made Halloween treats with them, for school. Cut Halloween dp the same size as the labels (I think 1x3"?). Attached them with doublestick tape at the back, put 2 in a mini zip bag and added a topper done with the mini Michael's stamps. They were a hit.

I just got my bag of Hershey's nuggets with Almonds! Mmm. I brought them up to my desk so that they wouldn't melt in my truck. Now, getting them from my desk to my house is a whole other game!

A little fact about me: I CANNOT buy "just one" of anything. I bought 2 HUGE bags of nuggets, THIRTY tins and 2 packs of 750 labels. I think I am good for the next 5 holidays. LOL That is... if I don't eat all the candy first. LOL Well, I will have the dark chocolate leftover at least. LOL

Every time I've bought nuggets - I've made like 1 box and ate the rest. Not an effective dieting hobby.

Continuing the hijack - yes, the coasters arrived today. Thanks!

On topic - whoever wants to share bags of nuggets - I don't like the dark chocolate ones, so that's what my gift recipients usually get!

Hahaha, AGAIN, I like dark chocolate!!!! But, after all this talk, I couldn't wait to see if my hints would produce some happy mail, I had to go buy my own! At the supermarket, they did not have mixed bags....I had to buy ALL dark chocolate, poor me! But, I am planning a trip to Sam's this week so I'll be on the lookout for a BIG bag, just in case I buy the set with the stamps made for treats!

In self-defense I haven't bought the candy wrapper PT set. Reading this post reminds me why! ;) They really are adorable little tins and wrappers. Maybe I can control myself and not eat the chocolate......NAH!!!!! No way!

Specifically for the nuggets they are talking about the tins available on PaperTrey's website. They are the "Clear Top Hinged Lid" tins @ the bottom of the page:
http://www.papertreyink.com/pack_tins.html

So that you can make things like:
http://www.papertreyink.com/ht_nichole_hldytrtstin.html

and

http://www.papertreyink.com/ht_debbi...aytrtstin.html

That's IF your nuggets last that long. I hid mine from myself because I'm making these tins for a craft show on the 10th of November. And NEED to sell them, not eat them. Well....it's not ME that eats them, it's my DH. I really don't like chocolate all that much, I know.....what a FREAK, huh?

These tins are too cute-I hadn't seen them before, but I guess I'll be making a purchase soon.

Nother note- TREASURES are not Nuggets. Don't fit in the boxes the right way!
I did have a guest in the bead/scrap room tho, and she did enjoy them. I can't eat caramel...so not for me....

Off to buy nuggets tomorrow!

What size labels do you buy to cover the nuggets?
