It's my hostess club order month in a few weeks and I want to get one of the hodgepodge hardware sets. i've only caught a quick glance at one of the sets and I'm not even sure which one it was. It is so hard to tell in the catty...which one do you think would be the most versatile metal finish to get as I can only get one for now.
I love the Aged Copper. Although I like the Pewter. Never thought about it going with more things. Great ~ another decision. This is the hardest order I've ever put in.
I find myself reaching for the copper and pewter more than anything. The brass is pretty, too, and I have them all, but the copper and pewter are my favorites.
I have the copper, and LOVE it. I like the EE inks and paper most - the fall type colors and copper goes nicely with them as it's brown. But, I did trade some of my copper pieces for pewter with a friend and I really like those too. I needed the pewter to match the scrapbook page I did - the copper just did not go with the pictures. It's the swing page in my gallery. Hey - try doing a search in the gallery for hodgepodge hardware and see which one you like best used.
Well, I'm going to be the different one. I got the brass, and I really like it. I think any of the colors will look good with anything, they all seem pretty versatile. I just looked really close at the examples in the catty, and I seemed to like how the brass looked the best, so that was how I made my decision. Just look up in the stampin' supplies index and it will tell you which color they used for each sample in the catalog. Or just get them all, LOL.

I bought the Antique Brass simply because I looked for examples in the catalog that I liked (using the HodgePodge) and almost every one I liked used Antique Brass. My least favorite is the Aged Copper, but that's my own personal preference.
