HOG ROAST INVITE IDEAS...
I was asked to make 50 invitations for a hog roast in May. I don't have any pig stamps and need a cheap way to do this. I thought of having a scared looking pig with googly eyes on the front...any other ideas or suggestions? Thanks for any help.
SCS is the best!

If you have some circle punches, you can make a head with a larger circle, nose with a smaller one...add eyes & ears & print off info on your computer...

There's a stamp set with a knife, fork, salt & pepper shaker, kabobs, etc. It's called Definitely Diner - page 97 in the catalog

How about the cow from Many Moos and stamp underneath "eat more pork"? It' not as good as "eat more chikin" but it might be cute...

I love your idea of a pig with the googly eyes bugging out. I think that's really cute.

April May Papercrafts Mag has lots of ideas for different invites in it -- maybe you could adapt one . . .

I'm Thinkin'....
Okay...I'm thinking the Pig from "It's a Party" and a computer-printed banner in vellum underneath that says:
It's a Pig Roast.
Maybe He Shouldn't Look So Happy.

You can make cute little piggies using the Fun with Shapes stamp set - there are a couple of examples of them in the gallery. . .you could even put them on a spit or something - or would that be too weird?

If you have a coluzzle you could cut out the face & maybe use eyelets/brads for the snout!
