Below is my CASE version of Janice Brinson's tag punch snowman card (thanks, Janice). Would you add anything (i.e. color in the scarf and/or star) or leave it as is? I am using this as my holiday card and would like to eliminate steps in the interest of time BUT want the card to be "finished" too.
TIA,
~Gina
You know that middle blue piece of cardstock, the one the punch is attached to? What if you put a ribbon around the top of it? You don't even need a bow, I usually just tie mine in a double knot and clip the ends at a slant, leaving around 1/2 inch. I usually put the knot off center, but either way would look great. You could use blue, or red, I think organdy or grosgrain or even gingham would look great. Let us know what you end up with!
Cute card!!

I agree. I think any of those ribbons would look great!
I think you should incorporate both of the previous ideas. Sponge white craft ink on the middle blue piece of cardstock (the piece with the tag) and add a ribbon to the top of the card.

I'd add some red - maybe a red scarf (markers are really quick) and I really like that ribbon idea; again, red would be my top choice. Let us know how you get on please.
Hmmm... maybe a folded piece of ribbon stapled on the upper right quarter?
I'll have to go with the ribbon and/or cord I have on hand -- bluebird, red gingham, gold or silver cord.
I sponged the edges of the center piece and it looks perfect. I did a version for a birthday card with the ribbon (without the sponging) and it looks nice too. Given limited resources (mainly time) I'm going to stick with the sponging alone for the mass production of holiday cards.
Planning on using the white gel pen (LOVE IT!) to write "Wishing you a joyful New Year" inside.
Thank you everyone for your feedback. It is sincerely appreciated.
Happy Holidays!

That's my vote!
Beautiful card!
