If you have Simple Green around, you can use it. I fill about 1/4 of my spray bottle with SG, then fill it up with water. Add a squirt of glycerin sometimes. :-)

Walmart next to the witch hazel or ask your pharmacist at your local drug store the bottles are about 4 dollars and contain 6 ounces here in MA.

They are smalland easily overlooked!

I mean you could look for 15 minutes!

I found mine in the baby section at our local rite aid last week.

Someone I know who made mine for me adds rosewater scented oil to the mixture :}
Sh emade me a 16 ounce water bottle full, any ideas how long it lasts?

I use the same one as JudyW. I really like it. Also I have the recipe for the blender pen refill. I haven't made it yet but I plan to real soon. It is:
2 t. glycerin
4 t. distilled water
1/4 t. rubbing alcohol

The person that had it on here that I got it from said you could use an eye dropper to fill it.

Mine has lasted a long time. I have mine in a 4 oz. stamp cleaner bottle. I have used it a lot, and I still have over 1/3 bottle left. I think I have used it over a year. Just don't remember when I made it up. It is so inexpensive to make.

Hay Carrie! Welcome to SCS!!!
I've been using Judyw's recipe for over a year on my rubbah and clear stamps. I love it and it does a great jobs on most inks. Be sure you buy distilled water and shake before each use. Do not use anything with alcohol or lanolin on your stamps, it is bad.
I didn't buy a spray bottle. I use an empty Panteen spray bottle - washed and rinsed well. Same type bottle for recipe below.

I also use the Simple Green recipe for rubbah that stains easy. It does a good job of cleaning them. I emailed the Simple Green Co. and was told to use a much lower ratio of SG than Amy's recipe. Here's my recipe:
2 Cups Distilled Water
2 1/2 Tblsp. Simple Green

Yeah, I tried that, too, but it didn't clean the way I wanted it to! LOL I've been using it for nearly a year, and I have not noticed any ill effects on my rubber stamps. Apparently it's a risk I'm willing to take, since I keep using it!

I do use Ultra Clean and StazOn cleaner off and on. And I like to use a microfiber cloth to wipe the stamps off occasionally.

I also use just glycerin on my stamps if I see the rubber starting to turn a chalky white. I rub the glycerin in the crevices and let it soak in , I sometimes rub it off or I keep it there until I am ready to use the stamp and then I clean it off before inking my stamp. My stamps have never looked better.

I use one part Simple Green to nine parts water and I think it does a good job, so long as I'm not trying to clean Jet Black StazOn, anyway.

I still buy the TAC cleaner. It works wonders on STAZ-ON and stained rubber!
I use it sparingly when needed. The rest of the time I use baby wipes but now I qwill be making my own. Thanks for the recipes!!

This is the recipe I use and have used for quite a long time with no ill effects to my stamps. It cleans permanent ink great.

1 C distilled water
1/2 C Simple Green
10 drops glycerin

I use Melaleuaca LemonBrite dish soap in my cleaner- so it is lemon scented!
Tho there is so little you don't notice the scent...
