I bought a Vellum Quote Pack. I guess I thought they were rub ons. I'm getting ready to start scrapbooks for my boys and I've pulled out all the stuff I've bought over the years to make baby books for them ( they are 3 and 11 months). I've got lots of stuff to work with, but am at a loss of what to do with these quotes. Cutting them out and framing ones I want to use is about all I can come up with... Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks!

I also have some of these and I noticed if you use a glue snail to adhere them you can see the adhesive under the vellum. So I agree with the statement on attaching with ribbon, brads, etc.
princessmeshelle......I too purchased a package several years ago and thought they were sticky backed. I just re-typed them on my computer to use on my cards. That way I could put the printout on any kind of paper I wanted.
When attaching vellum I prefer to run the entire piece through a Xyron machine (I have a 500 so it accommodates most stuff I use). It puts an even coating of adhesive on the back so any changes or see-through is uniform.
Brads, and eyelets are nice too. If using glue dots, try to find those made for vellum but you could also disguise the show-through with a strategically placed embellishment.
If there are sayings you don't use very often there are clear spaces of vellum large enough to use with small punches so I have a small collection of vellum butterflies and circles of different sizes.
Vellum always seems to be a challange for me too!!! Before I knew they had adhesives just for vellum I would lay it on top of a piece of card stock and attached it by sewing on buttons or with brads. Sometimes I would punch a hole and tie a ribbon through both the vellum and paper. If I did use an adhesive that you would be able to see, I ran it across just one side of the vellum and then tied a ribbon around the same area to hide the adhesive! Having it flap open gave the project a cool look.
When I was scrapbooking I bought about 20 or more of these books plus other words on vellum...I have not used them and they will probably move on to someone else soon.
blessings.
I had some and I photocopied them onto cardstock, cut them out and put them in a box so can use them in the future. I've have the vellum tape and I'm not crazy about it. If you don't press too hard it doesn't show, but then it doesn't hold as well.
