No, I'm not still talking Pirate. (National Talk Like a Pirate day was last Monday.)
Hey y'all! You don't have to pay to see the gallery!Honest! If you can't swing paying for the fan club, the only thing you won't have access to for ONEMONTH is the ability toUPLOAD! That's all. You just have to get in either through the member or technique gallery. Once you're in the member gallery you have access to EVERYTHING in there except the DD gallery. Yes, you will need to save your creations for one month and upload them when the refurbishing is done. That's about the only difference for you.
So please don't be sad or mad - it's all good! Daven has generously made a provision for the SCS members who can't afford to join. He's a great guy like that! 'Nuff said, okay?
Don't mean this to be rude. It's just that lots of people have tried to explain this but still people are posting and upset so I thought if there was a stand alone post maybe it'd get read. Worth a try, eh maties? Arrrrr. (And yes, that was pirate talk.)
Can't think of any other pirate talk - only "pieces of eight" but that's the parrot, isn't it?
The misunderstandings frustrate me, too - but it did make me realise just how easily other "discussions" get out of hand; a lot of people seem to post quickly without reading properly and fireworks ensue. They should be made to scrub the decks!
