Default How did they do this????

I saw a pic posted SOMEWHERE of what looked like a paper cup with petals cut around the top edge... it was a pic someone took during a class or main session....but I NEED to know how they did it.... if I remember correctly there were some round metal edge tags in the background of the picture maybe they were used to make the petals????
I just think it was a cool cup and would like more info about it...
THANKS in advance
Judi

Jarin made them in one of the sessions. He traced around the cup, cut the hole, then used the round metal edge tags to make the scallops around the outside. They really were cute! He used the cutie pie paper that is so colorful! Hope that helps! Lauri

Actually, 2 of the presenter used paper cups.
Jaron made his by cutting up one to make a pattern and the trace onto the designer paper. He folded a 1 1/2 wide strip in thirds and folded up to place around the rim. Jody did the cup with the flower petals. My notes are unclear to me but here they are: favor - cup and flower - coluzzle - trace around metal edged tag. She cut petals and cut a notch into them to fit onto the cup. I think there are photos of both in Stampin Events gallery. Hope that helps.

It looked like a regular sized drinking cup made of paper...Jaron took one of the cups and disassembled it to make his template for the DS paper covering and then Lynsay (?) did the flower petals and leaf.

The bottom edge of the DS paper is snipped to fold over the bottom of the cup so that it is totally covered.
