I do not know exactly! I do know that I viewed a few pages one day and a few days later for the life of me I could not remember what the site was. I looked in "my history" on the puter and there it was, I book marked it and made it my home page that very instant.

It was so long ago that I couldn't tell you for sure, think I found it doing a search for a SU site.... been hooked for "to long" my DH says but have enjoyed all the time I have spent here!!
My excellent upline and her group were all talking about it like everyone knew what it was! I just had to ask, "what is this splitcoast thing?", and now I'm hooked!

I have been here for a while and the bad thing is I honestly don't remember who or where I heard about it from. But I do love this site and all the people here! I get so many really cool ideas and I have been braver in trying new techniques and it is because of this site!
Christine P,
I am glad to "corupt" you!! Hope all is well with you. We need to get together and stamp soon!!

I was searching for SU websites to get ideas from and BAM,,there is was. I'm hooked. I check my email and then go straight to SCS. It's my home away from home.
A member of SCS " ginapier" bought some Magic Mesh from my DH on e-bay, came back and posted a topic about it. She then e-mailed my DH telling him he was a SCS topic, so he showed me and I instantly was addicted, so "thanks" ginapier I have had so much fun here and have learned so much from everyone
I can't really remember now, but I think I was looking for stampin' sites and I hit this one and I was instantly hooked!!! I can't remember if I was at the top 50 stamping sites.(???)
My demo emailed a link to us of a card that we were going to make at a workshop. The link was in a gallery, but I was intrigued and knew that there had to be more so I clicked on the home button and voila! Here I am. I LOVE this place! So many ideas!
I found it after an endless search for the "perfect" SU! gallery online..plus I was going crazy during the pre-catalog-release-convention time and I was looking for every bit of information I could get...haven't surfed another SU! related website since!!!! I LOVE SCS!!
I think she is an awesome stamper and I will be eternally greatful to her for leading me here! Thanks a lot, Kim (who has a gallery here, too, user name, nuttnhoney!)
i found it on SD forum.. but it was when noone posted full names of things.. so it took a couple of attempts to figure out the website.. now i am hooked!! DAVEN ROCKS!!!
My good friend (and my demo too) told me about SCS when sh decided to take a break from home demos. She's got me hooked on it already. I've posted more than she has but she's way more creative than I. Thanks Linda!!!
I "googled" upon this site when I was looking for technique help (acetate & tissue). Well, the tutorial by Beate was amazing. It had really cleared things up for me. Prior to stumbling upon the tutorial I had suffered through several failed attempts. But, I didn't spend too much time here on that particular day (lack of time). Then a few weeks later, JanTInk mentioned it on Stampin' Discuss. I cruised over here and I haven't left since. Talk about lack of time, no time for laundry, dishes, cooking, cleaning, etc. I didn't even make the connection that I had already been here until I revisited the Tutorials. (small world).
No, Jan, I do not hold you accountable for my addiction. I am willing to acknowledge that I lurk around here quite a bit, but I am not willing to modify my behavior, yet.
Way back when some convention photos were posted..not sure if it was 2004 or 2003. SCS was referenced on another board. I checked it out and it was when it was so overloaded with visitors we crashed the site! Left for a long time and now I'm hooked!
I was actually procrastinating on school work one night and "google'd" the term "stampin' up!" It led me to this site and you're absolutely right in how addictive it is! I find myself checking into the site every day just to see what everyone's talking about as well as get inspired by everyone else's brilliant ideas and cards. I think the thing I love best about this site is the unending support, encouragement, and collaboration of ideas to bring out stamper/crafter in everyone!

When I meet Charisma she told me about it. It is all history from there. I can't make fun of my husband and his geek sites cause I'm on here as much as he is on there.
