How do you play?

With a holiday weekend coming up, I'm sure there are some of us who are going to have a little extra time to just sit and play with our stamps. So, when you have a good chunk of time and no projects that need to be done, what do you do to just play?

Well, our whole family is going to our river house for the long weekend and it just so happens that my sister, mom, grandma, aunt, and her daughter all stamp! So, we are all taking our stuff!

I get out some of my favorite floral sets, and stamp pretty images! I don't
have to think about other elements of a card, just the "artwork". I try different color combos and arrangements, then keep the images in a little
plastic photo album for later. That way when I need to make a card, I can
choose an image, and build my card around it. My kind of play time!

I NEVER have a time when I don't have a project that needs to be done... wish I did!

yeah me either. I always have scrapbooking to do since I am making 3 albums one for each kid and a family album I am quite busy.

I grab my favorite cereal boxes and try to do card layouts based on their graphics. I love Trix, Captn Crunch and Lucky Charms.

And YES: making your kids eat healthy breakfasts when they are little WILL cause them to eat junk cereal when they are adults - SORRY MOM!
