Default How do you store your punches?

I've been rearranging my stamp area and I'm not sure what to do with my punches. I don't really want to just stick them in a drawer - I like to see them - they inspire me! Is there some way to hang them? How do you "display" your punches?

I have all my punches in "punch hangers." They're made by cropper-hopper I think. They're black with clear vinyl pockets in different sizes for the different size punches and they hang over a door. I LOVE having all my punches visible and ready to use -- so far I have 3 of these babies and love 'em! HTH!

I can't find the Punch Hangers in their catalogue. Where did you get them?

I have seen people use over the door shoe hangers for their punches.

I have all my Whale size punches stored in a canvas style shoe holder/organizer w/net style pockets that you can see through. It hangs on the back of my craft room door. I can see all of them for inspiration. I got it at Walmart for under $10. (It has 24 pockets)

I'm struggling with this same question. And I scrap/ stamp in an unfinished basement so there is no place to hang an over the door organizer.

You can find them at Crafters Toy Box or Jenny Craft websites. They are usually priced about $30 (in retails stores), but both of these places sell them for $14.99 each plus shipping. I have 4 of them (2 sm/med, and 2 med/lg) and I wouldn't store my punches any other way. I do not however have them hanging from the back side of a door I have them hanging on one of the walls in my stamp room. HTH & good luck.

I have all mine tossed into a wicker basket on a bookshelf. I have so many of them it was the only practical way to have them all out. Plus with them in the open I think to use them more.

I have some in a drawer, some on a little shelf with some individual stamps, some in a shoebox style plastic box, one with it's matching stamps in the tin.... I guess I need to read this thread and decide on a way to get these babies organized!!!!

Mine are organized into three plastic, shoe-box size boxes. It's not ideal, but it works.

I too stamp in an unfinished basement and use the over the door shoe holder. I just cut long lengths of ribbon, put it through the gromit holes in the shoe holder and tied them to the rafters in the basement. I got mine at the hardware store. Works gret for me.

well i just bought a new storage cart cuz I don't have much room for my stuff, we live in a teeny apt. But it's a clear drawer and so I can see them. I was putting them away and realized I bought two double hole punches! WHOOPS!!! Guess it pays to check before you just go buying things!!

Why not put a dowel ( for a rod) between the floor joists and hang it from the dowel like a clothes rod?
