I'm looking for ideas on how to store snap stamps and hoping you'll share what you've done or ideas. Right now mine are in their original packages. That doesn't work too well once you get them out and start playing with them...I spend too much time getting them all to fit back in!
I stored my 1/8" and 1/4" snaps in the Artbin satchel box (with dividers) snapped them all together to make a long line. I can't remeber how many sets I have but it fitted all the 4 sets each of 1/4 of 1/8 alphas, 1 set of each numbers and 1/2 sets snaps that I have. I'll try to double check when I get home.
This won't help most of you but it works for me. I just have one set (1/4 in., I think) so I don't have many to store. Not fancy - I have an International Coffee tin and the set just fits. I should decorate the tin, but have not gotten around to it!
I found what works absolutely perfect for me - I went to the hunting department of a sporting store and bought bullet boxes / shot gun shell cases. They have a variety of sizes to choose from and were cheap. I brought my snap stamps with me so that I could check to see which ones worked best. I have both the 1/8 & 1/4 inch snap stamps and bought 2 different sized bullet boxes. Hth!

I have both sizes as well. It doesn't really matter to me if both sets are stored together or not. I'll have to see if I have some sort of container like the International Coffee one. The bullet boxes is a neat idea...I know just where to look for those.
Alana, Thanks for posting this question. I've been wondering what to do too. I just kept hoping that one of the clear boxes from the produce department might work.... the ones that hold cherries or tomatoes. But I never have found the right size. I'm going to look in the hardware/hunting department.
I use one of the larger SU clear stamp boxes and I have 2 sets each of 1/8" and 1/4" in there. This has worked great for me. I unmounted all of my backgrounds and a lot of my stamps, so had extra boxes.

I have one of those small pencil boxes with the hinge lid - I have all mine (my mini and 2 small sets - all casual font) just thrown in there - all mixing and mingling together...just hunt through to find the letters I am looking for - usually just throw it in attached when I am done with it...until the next time

I also use SU boxes for my snap stamps. That way they sit right on my bookcase with the rest of my stamps instead of being separate, like some of my large clear sets. And if you don't have extras, you can always find someone who is going unmounted that would share or even order them from the catalog.

This is what I do, too. I like not having to dig around for each letter that I am looking for. Be sure and take a stamp with you so you get the right size.

I too use my SU empty clear boxes, although I do have to rummage around in them looking for the letter . . . but they didn't cost me a DIME! (I guess except the original stamp set)
