I can fit easily 20-24 in a CM 7X7 but it is not a ring binder.

I can fit easily 20 in a CM 5X7 but again it is not a ring binder.

This amount allows the album to still close and not have a bulky appearance.

Default Well, it depends...

For the Stampin' Up! 6x6 albums, I wouldn't recommend more than 20 protectors (40 pages) in the post albums. It will hold more but won't lay nice. If it's too full, you'll stress the album and it will be harder to hold and look at.

It also depends on how much (layers, embellishments) etc you have on your pages.

I also have some CM albums (strap) and my first ones were bursting with 3 sets of pages (15 to start, then 2 refills) for a total of 90 sides. WAY TOO FULL! I "broke them up" from 2 to 3 albums and am much happier. Now I limit to one set that comes with the albume and about one set of refills (give or take a few pages--depending on how much is on them.
