I'm counting nine right now, but am too lazy to go get an accurate count. I expect to be in the 10-20 category in the next few months. ;)

I have more than 10, but a lot of them are retired SU backgrounds that I can't bear to give up! (Old World Map, Harlequin, Old Paisley, Fern Lace, Script, Filigree, Just Jeans, Soft Swirls, By Definition.) Now that I have counted, I have more retired than current backgrounds, so I better get buying, right?

19 not including the Monogram Alpha - I have 11 letters so that'd make it 30 all together.

I have one - Geometric. I love it, but I really don't get on with it at all. I can never get it all to stamp - AND it's not long enough for a UK-sized card. It hasn't stopped me ordering Weathered, though

I have 20+ One called "Ticking" that ya'll probably never heard of. It's pretty old. I love b/g and keep all of them. I also just about all the new ones, so I'll be purchasing tons more.

Oh my! This question just made me realize that I not only have an addiction to stamping/stamps, but a huge one to backgrounds alone. I love the ones that are full card size, like Stampin' Up, so I only counted those. I didn't even count the unmounted ones because I was totally shocked to learn how many I actually have without counting them.

EXCUSE: With these large size backgrounds, I can create a simple card in just minutes ... you know... only needing one stamp and a message rather than a whole set... thus saving money LOL

11 Stampin' Up ... not nearly enough for being a demo since part of them are retired

38 JudiKins, Paper Inspirations and others... if they were all returned to the shelf

29 SonLight (Just went shopping over the 4th with the fantastic 20% off sale)

And on top of all these stamps, I love creating my own backgrounds (shaving cream, bubbles, etc.)

Dancing Rain

One who obviously has a serious addiction to backgrounds
Thanks, Annabelle1974, for bring this to my attention

I have 2 CHF backgrounds and 1 Hero Arts.

The SU ones are too expensive for me. The Hero Arts one drives me crazy because it does not cover the entire card.

25 with plans to order more. Mainly Stampin UP, then Sonlight Impressions and one from Eureka. Then there's all those little sets of four like Itty Bitty's and a few sets of long stamps and the wheels. I am a background person!

I have 6 non-SU backgrounds, and I think the first SU one will be the Paisley. I just can't shake the image of coloring it with varying shades of purple...it'll eventually be mine.

I answered 10-20, but I think I might have more. I know I bought 9 when SU ran the bg special last year. Then I went bg crazy and bought 3 or 4 from Cornish Heritage and I think I bought two retired ones that my demo was selling. Then I found out that CH had monograms. Yup...more than 20.

Are we counting these, too? I have Itty Bitty (not used for a long time though) and a handful of wheels. Don't really get on with wheels, either. I really should make more effort!

I have 3 SU big backgrounds, and 3 sets of SU little backgrounds, I counted that as 3 (sets) but really there are 12 BG among them, and 4 non-SU that I can recall. Oh wait, there's that star one, oh and that leaf cube, that's 5 more. Oops, should have answered in a higher catagory!

I love that aida cloth, too!!!!
And thinking the word search is cute, but I might get tired of it? Like, once you've used it and sent it to someone, you don't really want to use it again.....

The 25 is only backgrounds that will cover the card and not including the sets to build a background. I don't even know how many of those I have without counting. I don't like naked cardstock unless it has a texture to it.

Three of these I picked up at a resale for 50 to 75 cents and they are Sonlight Impressions, sold by Cornish Heritage Farms. The three I bought straight from them I saved money on because they are not mounted...yet...I'm still deciding on that for space but I like them better mounted. DH cuts and sands the wood for me.
