This question has been discussed A LOT especially around the retiring list.. I personally have only about 1/3 of my best friend and I have about 120 sets.

Here is the link to ONE of the conversations.. Forums at Splitcoaststampers

Wow! I wouldn't dare to count. Seriously!

Between all of my retired sets, current sets, DT sets, other sets ... public acknowledgement just might be a "bad" thing! Let's just say that, like many others here, I can be considered addicted to the craft of rubber stamping. ;)

Way to many to count. I would guess over 500 and many even more.

I try to stay below 150, because I have a hard time keeping track of what I have after that. And that's pretty much what fits in my stamp drawers! LOL When I first started, 150 would have sounded *crazy* to me, but now it seems very restrained. :-) Oh, and that doesn't count about 20 clear sets from Verve, Impression Obsession, and others. They get stored somewhere else!

I had 400+ when we moved last fall, and my collection has only grown. I need to sit down and catalog them, though.

Hmmm... a poll would be good for this thread! I haven't counted lately, but I think it could be over 400. I've been an SU demo for almost 4 years, I buy what I love, and I never sell my retired sets! <g>

It doesn't take long to collect them thats for sure. I have 200+ SU sets and 18 binders full of individual stamps and then tons of containers full.

I think the longer you're in this hobby, the more you will have! New ones always are being produced and making it to our wish lists! I probably have 150 SU, 45 CTMH, 10 MFT, 10 Crafty Secrets, 7 Tim Holtz, another 12 by various mfgers, then 100 single stamps. It's interesting how my tastes have been changing...but I wouldn't sell a single one of them...because I'm sure I'll use them all again someday. Oh and about 40 wheels.

I have over 200 SU sets alone. I also have TAC, CTMH, GinaK, Hero arts. Plus many single stamps that have been put together as a set like Judi-Kins, Inky antics. Do you hear the "cha-ching" of it all?!?!

I don't count them because then I can be in a state of denial about how many I have!

I'm with bev, I seriously don't think I should count - it would be a tremendous amount and I would probably need stampaholics anonymous baahaaa

I just had to go count....

I feel so far behind.. I came up with 87 sets.

I think that means I need to go shopping!

I'm sorry... but that is a highly classified answer... top, top security. If I told you... I'd have to have you snuffed out.

Yes, I too have way too many. Over 200 SU and then I was on Club Scrap for over 5 years, so a ton of them too. I also cannot part with them. I just bought a small tub of them--about 14 sets from a friend that didn't want them anymore. I don't really think I want to use any of them, I just couldn't bear to let her sell them to some one else. I think of them as my children. There was an old woman who lived in a shoe...she had so many stamps she didn't know what to do...
