Well I actually do use all my stamps at one point or another but I guess you could call me a newbie I just started stamping in August . Ok wait no I dont... I have some acrylics that I have never used yet !!! I bought them cause I thought they were cute... But that is only 2 stamps that I have never used so far...

I'm a hoarder for sure. I even sold a set (yes, one set) on Ebay. Then I went through a mourning period over the set, then I bought it again!!! this time I actually use it. BTW the set was Trees Three and I actually bought the second one for about half what I sold the first one for. So I learned a lesson in all this....Keep'em all...LOL!

I only have about 60 stamps sets....I can think of one I've rarely used. Some I've used a lot and not used lately. Office Accourement I've never used but I LOVE it...gotta use it. I know I don't "Need" any more and I've only got a few I'm going to buy....So, I feel I do have somewhat decent control of that buying urge I always seem to have. If I had a bigger budget I'd buy, buy, buy....
UGH... way too many. I get a little bit of "next best thing"itis! I'm committed to using all my sets at least once this year (I guess I'd better slow down on buying, sell some or give some away if I'm going to make it!)
One of the reasons I'm hosting an event (in my siggy) is an excuse to use my stuff, justify how much I buy, and work through a ridiculous paper hoarding disorder!
I am guilty of not using 2 SU flower sets. I bought so many and these just get lost in the shuffle, or never call out my name. Sad, b/c I have used all my stamps at least once, don't know how many times the kids have used them all. But this will motivate me, to pull those two sets out. Great question.

Joining the WISHRAK has helped me with my "need" to buy so many stamp sets. I can now wish for stamp sets that I think I need, use the images a few times (probably more than I would have if I had bought it), and decide that I am glad I didn't buy it after all. Now I can spend my money on more paper (which I AM learning to use, not hoard)... and markers ;-)...
Have you ladies thought of having a grab bag swap? Everyone send one stamp you have never used to somone else. No one will know which stamp they are getting until they open their package.
Just an idea to get new stamps and get rid of some old ones

I have a bunch that I have never used, but recently I pulled everything out of my studio and then inventoried everything. I had stamp sets that I didn't even know I had and some I had two of! Now that I have my data base of stamp sets I can do searches based on an image I am looking or or a sentiment and find exactly what i am looking for. I'm finding that I am now using more of the sets I have and hope to have used each set at least once by the end of the year.
