I am planning on doing a junior girl scout craft at the end of January with about 70 girls and I need to do this cheaply. I would like to make those gift tag pouches, instead of using the page protectors I am using a cheap $1.18 4x6 photo album and cutting out the pages. SInce I am waiting to buy the new tag set in Jan, I was wondering how many tags could I get on one 8 1/2x 11 sheet of cardstock. I will probably just have the girls cut out the tags since I don't have the punch and hoping to leave a small white border.
WOW 30!! I only get maybe 15 or so. EEEKK! Maybe I should be more conservative. I used the twill tape for the handle. I am sure you can find it somewhere cheap and the girls could make a ribbon handle to match perfectly! Let me know if you want to see the pic of mine.
If you cut the paper in strips that are 2" x 11", you can easily get 28 per sheet.
Yep! I only had one sheet of Real Red to work with for finishing my Christmas cards, and you can actually get at least four more tags by using Valerie's measurements than you would if you cut strips along the short side of the paper.
