I recently made coasters for a friend and a friend of hers saw them and would like to buy ten of them but I am unsure how to charge for them. I would be grateful to anyone with ideas for pricing.
Are we talking about the coasters made from tumbled marble?? I recently made two sets of 4 for my daughter to give as birthday presents. Her friends were overwhelmed, because in the Chicago area they sell for $45 to $60 a set in the gift shops!!! So, $12 to $15 for a set of four is very reasonable here.

I recently sold 3 sets of 4 coasters for $30 to a family friend. However, they dont think that was enough and they are still haggling the price with me. What is an appropriate price? I am in Canada.

I am in alberta too, and I am just not sure what to do
$10 for a set of 4 does not seem like enough. I'd say $20 -25 a set. Look at what similar items sell for at a retail shop. Also consider how much time and skill went into making them. Did you do elaborate coloring and shading? If so price more than for a simple stamped coaster.
P.S. Don't forget SU's angel policy and stamp the back of the coasters.

I think $20 for 4 is a fair price. I have paid $30 for the sandstone ones that absorb water. I like the mix and match idea at a craft fair. I charge less for anything I didn't spend a lot of time on, but that is usually never. All my coasters are watercolored pencil and blender pens.
I bought plain boxes that are a white/ivory color from Michael's. They are made of sturdy cardboard and hold 4 coasters perfectly. I believe that they were about $.99. I sold the coasters in the box for $20. You can stamp the top of the box with the same image that you stamp on the coasters.
