Question How to use the Aqua Brush ???

Could somebody please tell me how to use the aqua brush effectively? Each time I have used it, I find that there is too much water coming from the brush (I am not squeezing it) and it sort of pools on my image and then gels with other colours.

What am I doing wrong and how do I use it correctly. Thanks to all for your help....

I brush off the extra water/ink on a piece of scrap cardstock before I paint with it. If that doesn't work, you may have a defective aqua brush.

I keep a folded up square of paper towel to brush the excess water off with, or to check the color saturation with. Are you storing them point down or point up?

I store it with the brush upwards, so that the water doesn't seep out on it over time. I am going to have to try maybe using it with out any water in it maybe?? Or maybe there is something wrong with mine.....it just looks like poop when I have used it on an image......sigh....bit disappointed. :(

I love mine! If it gets too watery, just wipe along a paper towel several times until you get enough water off. Keep practicing until you get it to the dryness you prefer. Try stamping out a practice image on scrap paper and see how it goes.

Don't give up on it! It really is a great tool!

I always keep folded paper towel near and wipe it off many times to keep it as dry as I can. I only squeeze the water down once and the brush seems to stay wet enough that I still need to keep drying it on the towel. I love using it with the water color crayons...it blends so well.
