I have received a lot of PM's asking about info for the other pilot and where they can send a card- I got offical word today that the family is not giving the addy out for privacy reasons- Instead the army is collecting cards for them on base and will forward everything collected- if you would still like to send a card to the family of 1LT Keith Heidtman you may send it to me (no later then June 20th)- I will then take everything collected to the base collection at the chapel and the army will forward them Thanks again for your support!
Finished mine...I'll pop them in the mail Monday. It'll take about a week to get to Hawaii from England.
I hope the family is doing as well as can be expected...it just breaks my heart to think of two children without a dad. Makes me wish my husband could just get OUT of the military before he gets sent over...which I know is completely selfish of me, but that's just the way it is!!

It was a really hard day :(. I have never been to a military service. They had the gun salute and the bugal. It was very touching his wife is doing amazing she is being very strong, I got to sit by her at the funeral and I stayed last so I could get pics I know when she is ready they will mean a lot to her!

Hi - I just saw this thread for the first time - I wish I would have seen it earlier - I was at home in Alabama for a couple days and even went to my friends scrapbook store. I am thinking it may be too late since I am on my way to Ft Bliss and won't be home until probably the 15th - but if you think it will not be too late, I can blow out a few pages for you. I have lots of military themed stuff I bought for my Iraq album - I also have some cool pictures of Iraq that I could send you (not sure where they were bases - but I have pics from all over from my time there). Let me know if you think it will not be too late....

Just got back from cleaning her house! Not that I ever clean my own but figured if I were gone at my husbands funeral I would want to come home to a clean house- so some friends and I all helped!
Pages are here and LOVELY!! I love them all but the "I remeber you in my prayers always one!" is so sweet! THANKS A MILLION!!!
