Default I bought a brayer...now what do I do??!!

Does anyone out there have tips on how to use the brayer? I've noticed several cards that have the brayer technique, but really don't know how to use it. Any help is appreciated!

Keep it away from your kids... my 20 month old got ahold of my foam attachment and bit a huge hole in it.

Jenny -
Don't you feed the child

Probably looked like a HO-HO.

Too funny - kids the things they do.

My favourite is using the crumpled waxed paper technique. Crumple up a piece of waxed paper, smooth out again. Lay waxed paper between two pieces of glossy card stock .. shiny sides in... place a piece of waste paper over top and iron at highest setting (no steam). Then use your rubber brayer with the ink(s) of your choice over the cardstock. Makes a fantastic background!
I just did some cards using the "In the Wild" stamp set and brayed the cardstock with Close to Cocoa, Really Rust and More Mustard for the background.
