Default I don't see what the big craze is over the bellas.

I have looked at all these bella stamps. I don't see what the big thing is about these. Maybe it just takes me longer to get fasinated with certain styles. I keep looking at the gallery to find something about these to get me to buy them. you ladies are so excited about buying them and can't wait to get them and yet. I have no inclination as to why? I know there not everyones style including myself.

What is it going to take to get me to buy 1. I seen 1 so far that is cute. That is the golfer. Only because my kids are starting to golf and I think the golfer would look good on a scrapbook page with a photo of my daughter on the greens golfing.

Maybe when they come out with some cuter ones.

I'm not a Bella fan either, but to each their own. I'm sure there are plenty of things that I have that people say "what was she thinking" ;)

I love the cards that I've come across in the gallery but I also don't have the urge to buy these. Maybe it's because I long to look like those little stick thin beauties. LOL

Wow for a moment there, I thought I was the only one! I thought that the Bellas were taking over this website Love the stamps and the creations that everyone is coming up with these Bellas stamps, but I wish that they would post more of their SU creations since I'm basically a SU kind of gal!

If the chubbybella is cute, I may just have to buy her. So far, I've been resisting because I don't want to perpetuate the stick-thin myth.

LOL!!!

I didn't "get" the Bella thing, either. Then I liked them but felt there just wasn't a Bella for me. Then I decided to order "just one" to see what all the fuss was about - and because they are so cheap, with such cheap shipping to England, too. But I "accidentally" ordered three in one go! Now I LOVE them - they're really funky and so easy to colour. What I like about them is that they are completely different from any other stamps that I own.

Oh my goodness!!! You are so funny. I am sneaking on here from work and saw what you wrote and started laughing out loud. Now people think I'm crazy.

I am an old broad and never had the bod of any of the bella images even my hay days. I am not really attracted to them at all but know so many people are and can understand it. The old saying goes *different strokes for different folks*. That is the beauty of our site. We are all drawn to different stuff and we can appreciate what it takes to create it even though the stuyle may not be up our alley.

No one stamper has to like everything. I don't like country and didn't understand what the stamping craze was all about 8-10 years ago because that's the only style I saw. Now, there are bellas for me and something else for you and something else entirely for that other gal.

I was just about to write the same thing! I like them because they are whimsical, and that tends to be my style. I also like them because they are so different from the other stamps that I own. It sounds corny, but they make me smile. It's fun to color them in and add cute little embellishments. But the old saying is true...different strokes for different folks.

I love them, think they are tremendous fun and cover a wide range of bases. I don't think that they will perpetuate the model stick thin image, cause after all they are just a rubber stamped image!!!!! its what you do with it that matters!!! he he

I don't own any but my friend sent me some images and they are so basic in their drawn lines that coloring and creating was EASY PEASY...so perhaps that is the draw? I too like the Girly Girl line from www.inkyantics.com But hey what can I say, I am an INKY ADDICT!!! LOL

Some of the bellas seem relevant to sentiments for cards or scrapbooking and then others don't seem relevant at all. So I like some and dislike others. Generally speaking, I love the style of the picture and the style of the bella girls. I think they are funky and trendy.

I most likely will order 5 or 6 bellas - mostly for scrapbooking purposes (the beach bella and scrapbook bella) and a few that also translate to cards (pregnant bella and bride bella).

Default At least I'm not crazy...

I, too, thought I was the only one who didn't see the appeal of the almighty Bella! There are tons of cute cards and stamps, but just not for me. To me they are all the same stamp just in different "clothes." Glad to know I haven't lost my flair for stamping just because I don't *love* Bella! =)~

Cool

when i put bellas in the search in the gallery it only came up with 5 pages of bella designs.

there are SU! sets that have like 132 pages for one set of stamps (not even a whole line of stamps)

i really doubt that the bellas are gonna 'take over this site'

i also see threads about people gong gaga over the michael's $1 stamps whick is not really my taste but...

i understand that this site originated from SU! people but there are many SU! people who buy outside of SU!

just my 2 cents!

I think that if you have to be convinced to buy them, then you shouldn't buy them at all. If they aren't your taste, then they aren't your taste. Save your hard earned money on something you DO like.

I personally am a Bella Addict and proud to be one. I'm also fortunate enough to actually know the QueenBella IRL and for me that's even more fun. The girls are just like their momma, fun and quirky and a little off center.

What's not to love? Now if your complaint is that she's too thin...fine...that they're unmounted? Okay...but to complain that the bella's are taking over the site? Silly. There are TONS of SU pages and designs on here. Why fault us Bella-addicts for being so excited for our treasured find? We love her in all her quirks and the price can't be beat. I would rather toss Em a couple bucks for something that I'll use over and over again, then spend 40 for a stamp set that I'll only use one stamp from.

Again, my two cents, but geez, momma said if you can't say something nice....

Not faulting anyone. just saying it seems to be a big craze and it's not my style. That is until of course I see one that really strikes my fancy then I'll buy it. and then of course like the rest of you. I just might be eating my words later on. Same as some SU sets, Don't always like them at first then I see 1 card sample or 2 that I like and have o have the set. they grow on you. So just keep posting them as you are and maybe they too will grow on me.

it's the newest phrase in our family...based on the Subway radio commercial. "yes, I'd like a pot belly combo with a side of love handles, a badonka-donk butt with extra flabby, and some cottage cheese thighs."
It makes me LOL every time!!

I don't think the purpose of this thread was to be mean about the stamps I just think Lisa wanted to know if anyone else felt the way she did. No hard feelings meant I'm sure.

I'm sure she didn't mean to squish anyone at all...but Em does come here all the time for ideas as she is a stamper, and imagine how you would feel if you were here and saw a thread titled, WTH is with this thing...

The Bellas are cute, just not my thing. It's ok though . . . we all have our likes and dislikes. Pretty soon there'll be some new *big thing* taking over and maybe those of us who aren't ga-ga for the Bellas will be for the new stuff!
