It's a very cool magazine/book that has card samples in it that are all supposed to take 10 minutes or less to make. Most cards have the clean, simple, but elegant look I like. LOVE the mag. In past years, it was published twice a year, but this winter they've started a four times a year (I think it's 4, but maybe it's 5) publication.
This will be the first one I didn't pre-order... someone please tell me, how sorry will I be?
Thanks for the heads up! I got my first issue - Volume V, I think, at AC Moore a while back, after reading about it here. I just loved it, and have been waiting for the next issue. I didn't even realize that you could subscribe to it.
Keri, I spied the following: Becky Groska, MamaKimberly, Virginia Miermaster, Kim Wilson, Stephanie Leider, Dana Hatch, Kathy Skinner, Joy Sanchez, and a number of other stampin' friends!!!!
Unfortunately, I am able to recognize SCS userids, but they list real names, so I can't always match the real name to the userid to know for sure if I'm correctly identifying SCSers . . . :o
It's a great issue--lots of wonderful ideas and I'm very excited to see it will be published quarterly now! Woo hooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

A huge WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO for our SCS gals in the newest Take Ten, Winter issue!
I'm still smiling after wrapping my greedy little hands around it tonight! DH & I shared celebratory mochas with our DD, jess-witty while we savored the moment. Congratulations Jessica!
Congrats to so many talented SCS ladies!
Julie, you might have sent it in a long time ago, but they were certainly smart to finally publish your oh-so-cute card!
Kimberly, What a fun Shapes & Shadows card! Congrats to you!
Hooooooraaaaay for Kim Wilson's card, too!
I spotted a couple of great cards by Gavynn's Mom (Joy Sanchez) as well!
It's delightful to see so many SCS stampers! Cheers to each of you!

I got mine last night at Barnes & Noble. It is out on the shelves already. I am so glad I stopped to look, wasn't expecting it but there it was. The cover is light pink. Run, Run Run to the stores to find it! I love all of the great ideas! Great job, girls

Just not enough time in the day to do everything that I love to do
I got my comp copy in the mail yesterday They only used one of my cards, but you only need one to get a free magazine, so I won't complain!
Only have gone through it twice, but my observation is that this is one of the nicest Take Ten's yet -- Take Ten 1 was the all time tops, but this is a close runner-up.
Now that I have a list of other SCS ladies, I'll go through the mag and mark the cards. For others doing the same, I'm Susy Kegel and my card is on page 76 and is called Flower Pot.
Once upon a time I stumbled upon a website where I could pre-order Take Ten - but I didn't - and now I can't remember what it was. Could someone help me out? Suppose I'll try my local Borders as well, but I don't live in a big city and I don't know if they'll have it.

Thank you, Kim and Sharon! I made sure to find your card, Kim, and was pleased to see it was Shapes & Shadows!
I was a little confused at first with this issue at first because I was looking for the Design Challenge that was put out in the last issue (the challenge with all the rectangles) and I knew that Sharon had submitted some beautiful cards for it, so I was sure that I would see one of those cards! I guess I will have to wait impatiently for the next issue!

Jess, Congratulations on making Take Ten again. I am going to have to head for Borders to see if they have any left. I didn't pre-order so I could be out of luck. I hope not though. I was at Michaels the other day and didn't see any at all, so either they didn't get any or they are all sold out.

Anyone remember what the deadline for this issue was? I submitted a bunch for the October 15th deadline -- was that for this issue that just came out? If so, THAT WAS FAST!!! If not, than I still have a chance for the next issue.
I think the Oct 15th deadline was for the March 1st issue. This December issue was a surprise....to me, anyway! That's why so many of us had cards published unexpectedly...we didn't submit them for this issue.
