Did you ever just forget everything you had to do and stamp all day! I did that today!!
I know, I know, there's always so much to do, but really, I encourage you to drop it all for just one day and stamp. It really feels sooooo good! I made like 10 cards! I also just played with all kinds of techniques too. All the stuff you never do when you are in a hurry and just have to stamp one quick card. Hey, the chores will all still be there tomorrow, right?
(I feel like the Lean Cuisine commercial where the other ladies ate cold pizza, or a left over crust from their kids PB&J and the happy lady ate fresh roasted chicken with a vegetable medley over a bed of long grain and wild rice... uh, it was one of those Lean Cuisines! LOL, Hey, I stamped all day!) Don't kick me out!

So jealous! I haven't picked up a stamp in over a week.
I'm going to a gathering this weekend and won't get to enter any of the contests because I haven't had time to make anything, and won't have any time before then.
Oh well, working hard means making a lot of money too.
(And I don't stamp well enough to make it my work!)

Unfortunately it isn't the chores that prevents me from stamping. It's the mom things. Oh well, I'm sure they'll be time for stamping one of these days ;-)

I make sure I do that, because we all need to. At times I just homeschool my son in my craft room so he can do quiet work while I stamp and then we can work together when we need to.

Oh, isn't that the truth! Mom things take priority. I just got lucky! No Mom stuff on the calendar!

I totally agree with this, we get so wrapped up in doing all the stuff mom's do, or house work and such, and then hit the end of the day at a low point because we haven't taken any time for ourselves. DH has been great lately about making me take time to go stamp, even if it is for 10-15 minutes, just so I can regroup, and feel more together. Stamping is my stress reliever!

You know, last Mother's Day, I told everyone what I *really* wanted.... A whole day of uninterrupted time to stamp! And you know what? They gave it to me!
It was a glorious day for sure. I stayed in my pajammies *all day* and stamped *all day* - singing along to lots of Moody Blues!
sigh.... ;-)

Oooo, that's so awesome! I won't be having a day like that anytime soon. I feel like Julie's smiley---dizzy from work, football team mom duties, soccer, church, party planning, etc.
Congrats on the 10 cards--are we going to see it here in the gallery or on your blog soon?
Sounds great! Stamping or shopping all day, I'd be happy! That's a great idea for my b'day present...but I might just have to pack it all up and reserve a room somewhere to guarantee no interruptions.
Doesn't it feel great? My days of running kids around are over - I'm a fairly new empty nester - but I still work FT and am so beat when I get home. My solution is to encourage my DH to take some time for his hobbies once in a while (most of which require he go somewhere to do them) and then I stamp my day away!
I get to stamp this weekend. Meeting two of my sister-n-laws out of town. I have all the stuff cut for my Christmas cards, some card stuff cut for teacher Christmas gifts...then I'll play. I'm sooo excited. To have fun with family, be productive etc. And guess what?! I don't have to plan what's for dinner, lunch, breakfast....etc. etc.

I posted three last night on my blog. More to come for sure!
