Default I just don't get the Buddy List

I must be dense but I just don't get it. What do you use the Buddy list for and how do you use it. Any of you oldies (but goodies) out there? Can you shed some light on me!

I use it to see instantly if my buddies are online and then send private messages to them from there.

Lynn is right...when you click on the forums from the main page, if you scroll down there is a list of everyone that is using the site at that time. If you add someone to your buddy list, the + sign will show up by their name, making it easier to pick out their user name from the loonnnngggg list of people online!

HTH!

I was thinking that there would be some way to see if your buddy was online. Anybody want to be on my buddy list? ;)
