Default I killed a thread! (shocking!)

I killed a previous thread, but thought some of you might want to know about this, so I'm repeating it here...

I found a great way to store my 12 X 12 papers! I don't have room for carts, but I do for files. I found these at:
http://store.scrapbooking-warehouse.com/242367.html
They are $12.63 each. I have one for each color family (marked on the outside - Earth Elements, Bold Brights, etc..), one for US white, US vanilla, copper, silver, gold, vellum, window sheets, etc.., and one for printed papers. I put both my 12 X 12 and 8-1/2 X 11 of the same color in the same file. They work great and are totally portable and strong! They hold a lot of weight without the handle breaking. HTH some of you!

nope- I'm reading it right now and checking out the link....

I've got all my 8 1/2x11 in hanging files, but that's a great idea to get the larger files and store both sizes together!! I'm so happy you started another thread!! I never would have found the other dead thread...
TFS!

Thanks for this tip! I've bought from this website before and have always been happy.
BTW - has anybody gotten or used the the vellum writer markers (in the hot deals section)? I've looked at them and thought about buying them several times, but haven't yet...

When you post on a thread and suddenly the thread dies - meaning nobody else posts after you - you've killed it. It's a very sad occassion. Kinda like walking into a party and suddenly everyone has to go home.

It's been suggested that the last poster may have said all there was to be said about the subject, so no one else feels the need to post! In that light, maybe "thread killing" is a positive thing!

Nothing like feeling like the butt! teehhee (sorry I couldn't help it) I have killed many threads. Some here and lots at another board I visit. :?

They even had one ofthose threads where everyone insisted that they were the thread killer. I didn't post because I knew that would bethe end of their fun! teehee  :P

Thanks for the link I will check it out cause I am now wanting to get all the 12x12 so I can start getting caught up again on my own scrapbooks!

Default Thread Kill

How do you know if a "thread" is dead? Does if disappear if nobody posts for a certain amount of time? (can you tell I am fairly new to this?)

I also noticed their Crop In Style totes are reasonably priced, which is great at $5.99 shipping.

Keri - Yep! That's pretty much it. Every time a post is made, it bumps back up to the top. When a thread hasn't had a post in a while, others will just naturally pile on top of it, making it sink lower and lower on the page. If it goes to a second page of the forum, then chances get lower that anyone will go and find it. That's why every once in a while, you'll see a thread that just has "bump" as the last post, so it would go back to the top.

HTH!

Tasha - LOL! I keep seeing those threads pop up, and noticed they're up to a BIG number! Not only that, the posts themselves are like 15 pages long each!

IYO, will they hold a full package of each color in a family??
TIA!

They do! I don't know about putting full packages of both 12 x 12 and 8-1/2 x 11, but I know they hold full packages of either one or the other!

I pretty much use just the 81/2 by 11.
Thanks for the info. Gonna have to check those out further!
