Oh Geez- I got to go through my goodie basket again today to put everyting away. Once again it brought me to tears! You ladies just don't know how wonderful I feel knowing that you all appreciate my work for the garthering!

I will try very very hard to get pictures uploaded ASAP...but I'm prepping for session 2 (1 week away), a garage sale (next weekend also), and a Stamp-a-Stack. Thank god the gallary is down...give me another excuxe (sniker sniker). Ufdah.....I LOVE LOVE LOVE to keep busy....could ya tell!!!
Thanks so much to everyone who came yesterday (3-16-05). It was a HUGE success! It ran soooo smooth!!! The demos were great...the swaps were great...the displays were great...the food was great...the door prizes were great...AAAA I could go ON and ON and ON!!!
IT WAS PERFECT! Ps...DEmos - we still need some pictures of you BUTTS!

Oh Rennee...I could go on all day. There were tons and tons and tons and TONS of goodies. Hand stamped goodies & lots of embelishments....lord knows I love embelishments and the girls knew it too!

Haven't heard that since my friend, who lived out here for a couple years, back a few years ago, moved back to MN! We worked together, and she would say that for all different occassions!!
I spoke with lzaapa earlier today and she said it was a rockin good time yesterday!
I was busy downloading pictures from my camera. Boy is the gallery going to be busy when it comes back up! The pictures of the demos turned out great (no butt shots though) ;)
I'd better remember to wear my Rudolph socks next Saturday!

I was blown away by the cards in the card contest. So many great entries!
The card swaps were excellent, the displays were great. The 5 demonstrators did an awesome job! The 5 who demonstrated were Pinefeather, dostamping, crazy4stamps, baronsmom, and Chris Fuhs. What a talented bunch of ladies!!!
We're doing the second session next weekend but we haven't decided on when our next session will be.

I forgot to add...
Along with all the LOVE in my heart for Paris, Kathleen,Terri,Dotty, & Cindyriderseeker who worked so hard and made the whole day fabulous, I need to give a great BIG thank you to tmarie for making me give in and order Paisley and the "Cat" LOL. I've always hated Paislies, my mom used to make me wear it as a kid (can you guess my age with that statement?). AND, I am not a cat lover, don't hate them, just not my thing.
But now, with that card that we made, hoo boy, there is no way I'm not getting it.
You guys ROCK!!!!

Dang...what's up with that COOL CAT. I keep telling myself "I don't NEED it"...but than there were 3-4 swaps that used it...plus tons and tons of samples on display boards. Every single one of them was to die for!
Crap...now I HAVE to buy that too! Time to start saving for the new colors (WOOHOO) and Cool Cat!!!!
Doesn't Tmarie rock...she just doesn't get it...but boy oh boy does she rock!
I JUST ALSO WANT TO SAY THANK YOU TO THOSE OF YOU WHO DONATED DOOR PRIZES. I know some of you may have donated but didn't win anything. We're gonna change this next time! If you donate you will win a donation in return!!! Anyway- I'm sure who ever won your doorprize realy realy appreciates it...just remember...you put a HUGE HUGE smile on someone elses face. REmember; IT IS ALWAYS GREATER TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE!
This was a fabulous day.. Paris and her crew did a smash job on everything! I loved all the displays and swaps - my only thing was that I had to miss the other talented ladies demonstrations while I was doing my own!
I am looking forward to seeing pictures of everything since I couldn't bring my camera with the uncharged batteries!
I am going to post my watercolor chart in the tips and techniques section of the site.. I know Paris did email it to everyone, but it will be there again just in case!

The shoebox swaps ROCKED, holy moly what awesomely talented stampers!
The DEMOS ROCKED....I am ARMED & DANGEROUS with all the new techniques I learned
The PRIZES ROCKED....thanks to everyone who donated GREAT stamped stuff
But most of all, all of the TALENTED, COOL people there rocked! Makes me want to go to next week's get-together too!

Holy Geez Chris...keep your panties on!!! (GIGGLE GIGGLE). I gotta get past session #2 this weekend...than we'll plan another gathering!!!!! I want to send out a survery too...that way we learn what "to do" and "not to do".
We definately will change the door prize stuff around. We'll still give away stamp sets...but you can only win a hand-made prize if you donate a hand made prize! More fair this way!!! AGREE?
Gosh...we might have to rent a Reception Hall next time so we can fit everyone at once! But than again I like the close nit setting!!! Makes me feel more at home. MY GANG OF MN GALS ROCK....hummm any suggestions for a name for ourselves...
