Does anyone else have this problem and if so what do you do about it? I need to stamp more and look at the computer less but I am so afraid I will miss something big. Pretty sad when all I can think about on vacation is what I am missing on SCS..that takes me hours to cath up on when we get home!!! Plus my children need their Mom..how do you guys do it all???? Help, my name is Deidre and I am an SCS addict....
<Giggle> I know exactly what you mean . . . like I say to my husband, "it's so much easier to just LOOK at stamping than to actually DO stamping."

Me too!! One thing I did to get myself stamping more was to do the SCS challenges...so much fun! Then I feel like I am still on SCS, but I am also getting some stamping done.

Boy do I hear you, the first thing I do when I get in the room is SCS then if there is time left I might stamp. I might miss something that someone did with a set i have or maybe they made something neat, it never ends
My name is Conni, and I too am an SCS addict

I spend most of my day on SCS - but its from work. That helps to feed the addiction, but that I have all these great ideas in my head and no time to put them into stamping. I get home from work, make supper, clean up and collapse. So fat lot of good the ideas do.
But this is the best site in the whole cyberspace for stamping and/or scrapbooking. The only things I check out the SU website for is who's on Stampers Showcase, ordering and my stats. Otherwise I come here for help, advice and sympathy.

I know exactly what you are saying!! What amazes me is some women, like the DD team, are giving input and helpful suggestions to questions and still have time to create awesome pieces!
Iknow what you mean. Every day I tell myself I'm only going to be on SCS for a few minutes just to check out the challenge for the day. A couple hours later, I might actually get to the challenges. Then a few hours later, I decide I better do something else. I am also addicted.
Thats me totally! I look at magazines for ideas and on SCS I get so many ideas, but I only stamp when I need a card real quick or have to make one for my SS. My DH gets upset with me if I go off in my room because I am not getting housework done. I think "If I get all my work done then I can go stamp" It doesn't happen!! It feels a little better to know I am not alone.
I just found SCS and I am in sooooo deep! I've printed off so many different card idea samples, that I've run out of black, cyan and yellow ink in my printer! How bad is that??Maybe its a good thing, because I can't print anymore, I'll just have to go and try to stamp them, huh. LOL Kim
OMG - I thought I was the only one! I love seeing what people have done with stamp sets that I own, and I get some great ideas. Now I have to make the time to do some stamping! I think I'm overwhelmed by it all. I have all these stamp sets & embellishments and just don't know where to start!
I'm here because my stamp room is so messy right now I don't want to deal with it! SCS is so tidy! Oh, and the laptop is warming my cold legs. So cozy!

SCS is definitely where I go for R&R....after a stressful day (like today) UGH!, I will lose my self in stamp and scrapland......and be productive too....have replaced TV watching with SCS reading and creating....thanks to all for contributing for my viewing pleasure....

OK.....me too. Just got 3 or 4 new stamp pads, plus all the new color cardstock from SU and I haven't touched any of it. It's like my stuff is on display and not for real use. I spend hours looking through SCS and my SU catalog. I have lots of imaginary cards in my head, plus a name frame, but I haven't been downstairs stamping in a couple weeks!
I converted our home office into a craft studio with computers. DH even set up a drafting table for himself, since he's an artist. It feeds both addictions, now. I can stamp AND do SCS at the same time I'm listening to internet radio. Whoo hoo!

I am truly feeling better about the fact that I too am on here more than I stamp...sometimes I have to not be home to realize that there is a life outside of SCS...I used up all of my ink a couple of times as I wanted to print ideas to have for the sets that I have but need to try to do them...Thanks for making me feel like I'm not alone!!!! You're all great!! =)
