I like to make accordian cards with a vellum envelope attached inside...in there I put the money. I did this for a wedding gift.

Have you seen the cards Shelly did on DIY?

I'll see if I can find a link - they held $$ or a gift card.

Here's the link

I just made a card with a "denim" pocket on the front (Pocket Fun) and attached it with eyelets. You can fold the $ and tuck it inside the pocket.

Just checked "Today's Additions" and would you believe there is a card with a pocket and money? It's by Kendra and called "Pocket Money"

Well, this didn't use much stamping and it really wasn't a card, but it was kinda easy and everyone thought it was cool, especially my nephew who received it.

We gave him $25, all in $1 bills. I taped them together, end to end, and rolled them up, not too tight. Then I took a toiletpaper tube and made a slit in it. I stuck the money inside, with a ribbon attached really well to the outside dollar and had the ribbon sticking out the hole.

Now came the difficult part. I used scrapbook paper and made caps on each end, so the money wouldn't fall out and then covered the tube in the same paper, making a slit in the appropriate place. The ribbon was sticking out and I think I attached a tag to it that had a greeting on one side and said to pull gently on the other.

It worked really well and he had fun pulling and pulling and pulling the money out! Made $25 seem like a whoooooooooooooole lot of money!

've done a bag-a-lope for this before. All you need to do is take a standarde legal envelope and seal it. Then cover it with a wheel and tear off the top 3 inches or so. Then run only the longer bottem half through your crimper and the top will "magically" fit onto the crimped bottem like a lid. I then layer CS with a message or picture for the occasion on the uncripmed lid. So cute and simple!
