Default I'm bummed

Ok, so I know it's Christmas and in the grand scheme of things this is just not a big deal, but I just had to share with some people who'd understand because my family is just making fun of me...!

I can only upload pictures to my gallery on my parents' computer. My computer at home is sooo old and is not compatible with any software and my computer at work has a lot of restrictions on it and I can't download any software or upload things to it because they're virus-paranoid. I've only got a couple of pics in my gallery and those have been there since Thanksgiving. So I've been taking pictures of my creations over the past month and I've been really looking forward to uploading my pictures while I'm at my parents' house for the holiday (they're in MA, I live in CT). I was all ready to do it and then I realized I forgot to pack the cord that connects my camera to the computer, so no uploading for me! :( I know, could be worse, but it's just disappointing, KWIM?

Alright, thanks for letting me vent. Now it's back to Merry Christmas spirits!

I am so sorry. I know what it feels like to look so forward to something and not have it happen. I am glad you are going to continue to enjoy Christmas.
That is what it is all about anyway.
I can't wait until you are able to upload your photos so we can enjoy them. I LOVE looking through the gallery over and over and over. I spend HOURS here and was going through withdrawals when I was at my brothers for Christmas Lunch. Now I am glad I am back home so I can enjoy SCS. HAHA Now that is bad!
Merry Christmas!

What a big bummer. I know what it is like to not be able to upload. Our computer is the same. I was excited to given a scanner a while ago, and then SOO disappointed when our computer did not have what it takes to upload them here. :(
Hope the rest of your Christmas has been great.

i got a question....does your camera have a memory stick or card of some sort? or is it stored directly on the camera??

Reason why i ask.... If its a memory stick or card, you can go buy a "drive" that works for that stick or card, and connect it via USB to their computer to get the pics on there

walmart even sells these now

HTH

You can buy a card reader for any type of digital media. You may have to upload new software on your parents computer depending on what operating system they have. I work at Wolf Camera and they cost as little as 14.00. So Walmart or Target should have them for at least the same if not less.

Hope you get you picts uopladed!

Happy Holidays,

Julie
