I can't wait to hear some of the tips on using some of the new things! Some of the 'must haves', once we see how wonderful they are... keep us at home posted, pleeease! Thanks! One of these years I'll make it down... it's right in the midst of haying and I just can't figure out yet how I'd swing that.
Have so much fun everyone!

oooh! how exciting!!!! I am getting into last minute "panic mode" for my swaps and I'm leaving on Sunday for second session but I promise to make time to follow the convention threads.
Oh...I'm so jealous! I have 3 more days of work before I can leave! Ugh! Type a lot! I'm ready to read it all! I'm off to work on my swaps...still not done!
Ohhhhhhh, I'm so jealous!! Wish I could be there, but my schedule just did not work out this year to be able to go to convention. Have a wonderful time. Keep us posted!
Got here at 9:00 MDT last night. Getting ready to get up, get dressed, and go down to breakfast. Not sure exactly when we will head out to the Convention Center. I'm not one that really likes to deal with crowds pushing so may wait till 9:30 or so to miss the first rush. Then will have all day to enjoy just looking at things. Tonight is when the real real fun begins.

We arrived yesterday morning and had a great day in Denver. We went to the mint and ate dinner at a yummy place called Lime in Larimer Square. If you come to Denver, go there. It is a Mexican "bistro" and the people and the food were great.

I can't wait I fly out on Sunday! I am kinda sad that in my group there is only 4 of us and last year we had 60 so it will be a whole less. I hope to meet a lot of new people and learn lots and get lots of pics!!!
Hubby already told me that he will send me to convention next year! (I'm going to sign up to be a demo at the beginning of August) I almost passed out because he never wants me to go anywhere without him.
I work a few blocks from the convention center and I'm sad because I have to wait until Monday (session 2) for my fun to begin. Can't say I'd recommend eating at the Hard Rock, the food's not all that great.... however, Bayou Bob's (Cajun) is my favorite (a hole in the wall type place). They have a BBQ shrimp salad that is wonderful.... and of course, fried pickles.
Picking up my up-line at 12:30 to drive down from Longmont. Hopefully miss the Rockies traffic! Thanks for the heads up on Bayou Bobs. Haven't spent too much time downtown Denver, so wasn't sure where to try. Agree on Hard Rock: NOT the best food!
I dropped Tracy off at the airport this morning and I am sooo sad that I was not getting on the plane too, TRACY HAVE A BALL!!!! And lots of reports for those of us who are waiting in the wings!

Oooohhhhh I am so jealous of y'all who are there. This is the first convention since I became a demo in 2002 that I am NOT attending <pout>. I did not have anyone reliable to take care of my kids for the whole time and felt it wasn't fair to bounce them around from place to place for 5 days.
On the bright side, the Fed Ex man brough my birthday present from DH this morning (my b-day was 6/19). It is a brand new embroidery & sewing machine that just came out and wasn't supposed to ship until August. I can't wait to figure out how it works <lol>!!!

Made it in late last night! Stayed up until 2 am working on swaps still... but they WILL be done for the SCS dineer tomorrow night! LOL!
We're heading over to the convention center soon... gotta get b'fast first.
Hey! We were up 'til 2:30 last night doing the same thing! (One of my friends is doing that right now as I am typing!). The Make & Takes tonight at the pj party were great!!! Super duper fun!
