My paperwork went in the mail on Monday and today my upline called and got my demo number from SU! I'm really excited!
Only trouble is - my Starter Kit order is still "closed" - when I called them to get a password to get onto the SU website, they said they were having trouble and it might not ship til next week!!
I have plenty of stamps and stuff to keep me busy, but I really want my Starter Kit! And I'm running out of cardstock in some good colors! I'm trying to make lots of SU-onlly cards for my Open House that I'll have in mid-August!
It's so awesome that new demos have already discovered this site! I wish I had know about it when I signed up last fall....I struggled so much in the beginning and I could have found so much support here!
Hi!
I'm in the same boat as you...My new demo paperwork went in on Monday, and I can't wait to get my demo # to go on the SU! website. And, of course I want my kit Now. But, I hear the kits may take 10 days---Aaargh!
I've been a SU! customer for 3 yrs so just like you, I've accumulated my fair share of products, but I really want to get rolling and make this a business for myself! I'm curious- did you substitute any stamp sets in the starter kit, and did you add the stampin' memories kit? I chose itty bitty backgrounds; little hello's, fresh flowers, lovely as a tree and all yr cheer II. I also got the memories kit, I thought it was a good deal.
Good Luck with your Open House... I wasn't sure if I would do one, but I'd love to hear what you have planned for yours. Would love to chat if you want to email me at [email protected]
Congrats to both of you! I am really having a lot of fun with SU and this site makes it even better!!!! I am on THIS site more than the SU discuss website! Many talented people and lots of fun stuff to look at!
Dawn, Where in MA are you from? I was born and raised in MA until I was in highschool.

Congratulations to the both of you. That is so awesome. You will love it! It's soooo much fun! And you know....if you have any questions....just post them. You will have lots of other demos more then willing to help you out!
Beate,
You're everywhere!! When do you ever find time to stamp? I see your happy smile and encouraging words on almost every post Thanks for the enthusiasm, and I saw you on the Dirty Dozen, too~ Whew!!
Someday I hope to find my way through this whole site; there's so much to see, I get confused where I am. Once I found a great site and slideshow of pictures of everyone's stamping rooms- it was awesome to see how different people organize their supplies and "set up Shop"!! I'm not sure I could find it again though- but it was cool while I was in there.
Congratulations Susan and Dawn. I also am new and got my demo # from my upline and I finally figured it out to look and see if my kit shipped and it shipped today!!! I can't wait.
Good luck to both of you!!!

congrats to all of you... had to laugh when you said that it was taking longer to get starter kits.. must be this site.. everyone (but me) is signing up to be a demo so they are probably overloaded with orders for the starter kits!! Someday I will be one!! Started on my "demo stash" 2 weeks ago so hoping I can add more than $$10-$20 a week so can get it sooner!!
