Default I'm SO bad!

I should NOT be spending money on paper. Mamak just gave me my stack of 52 sheets she got me in Indiana. What did I do this morning? Ordered 2 packs of the new Basic Grey stuff! Ack! But it's already shipped, yippeee!!

Paper really is an addiction isn't it. Where did you order it from? I would love to window shop. ;)

I'm intrigued by Basic Grey. It is mentioned a lot on the board here. Noticed that TAC sells it in their catty. But I've never seen it in person. I am attracted to some of the color schemes and patterns. But I am curious what you like about it...is the paper heavier quality or different finish, etc? Also what types of projects do you use it for? Are you using it to scrapbook or do cards? I'm not sure if I could bring myself to cut it up. My tendency would be to collect and hoard it and leave it in pristine condition I think.

You're not alone! I find that if I buy it for a specific project I use it. If I buy it just cuz I love I tend to hoard. I've promised my budget that I'll use at least half of what I have before ordering more patterned paper from anywhere. Wish me luck!

It's definately hard not to hoard it!! I have several packs waiting to be cut into, but once I cut it, I realize how even just a small sliver does wonders on a card! TAC does alot of paper piecing with it which looks really cool. This months' edition of Scrapbooks Etc has some great examples where they used the WHOLE sheet as the background and didn't even have to cut into it! With this paper even that looks wonderful! Buy it, enjoy it!!

Aww, go ahead and help DH spend money from that new job, Emily!

Loretta -- yes, it is a little bit heavier weight paper (not sure of the exact weight though). The aged look of it seems to be really hot right now.
