I just got the Scalloped Punch by SU and I am having a blast figuring out which SU stamp images fit inside. So far I LOVE the image in the Wanted set that is flowery/ circular and the adorable snowman from Merry and Bright. What are some of your favs?

I love In the Spotlight with the scallop. It really looks great. I also like to stamp on the 1 3/8" circle and mount it on a scallop. Big Pieces and Big Flowers are cool too!
Good luck and have fun!

Heres what I do--
I punch th escallop ot of cardstock, the go page by page and hold it over images, flowers and everything, to see how it looks. Some images look really good when scallop punched, it gives them a different look, like the flower from Looks like Spring, pg100. When you puch out the stamped lg flower, it takes on a 3-D effect because of the shading in the flower, and removing the edges of thef lower with the scallop. Oy, did that make sense?? lol

Just to clarify, I think Tandra means that you should hold the cardstock with the punched OUT shape, over the catalog pages. So, you're looking at a piece of cardstock with a hole in it, the shape of the scallop punch. Kinda like this:
Thakns Cat!! I was in a stinkin hurry when I was writing that, and obviously I am NOT the best typer around!! hee hee
Yes, hold the punched out sheet of cardstock with the holes in it, over different images in the catty! phew!!!
I also punch out on vellum and then I can hold it over the image in the book to see. -- Kinda the same idea, but different. You know what they say, great minds..... ;)

I agree with TeeGeeDee. I just ordered the punch from my stamp club. I can't wait to get it and now I have some great ideas thanks to everyone here. I love the idea of punching it out and holding it up to the images in the catalog. How clever!
