Well I got all brave, and uploaded some pictures last week! Then I lost this thread...couldn't find it for the longest time until I did a search under threads posted by you, Beth! Finally!
Anyway, my new hobby is SCS. Since my new workroom isn't finished yet...
We got the dropped ceiling in today! The carpet comes next and then I will have to move everything into the room and get organized! I can hardly wait!
Thanks for the push, Beth. I am having too much fun, (if there is such a thing)
Will try to get more posted into my gallery as I take more pictures of my creations but here's what I have so far. clanderson's Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I just uploaded cards for the first time - I now see that since I had to keep retrying to submit them (kept getting an busy or broken server notice) that they actually submitted 3 times. I submitted 4 cards and will try to upload some more. I am rather new to stamping, so they are what they are...GourmetStamper's Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I do not have a scanner (therefore no need for a gallery) or I would post one or two. Next time I go to my mom's, I'll be sure to take a couple cards and scan.
I am slowly getting the nerve to upload some of my cards, I don't use primarily SU ingredients so I doubt they will get much traffic, and I am not exactly the most advanced stampers.. so I am a bit apprehensive about sharing, at least no one is going to tell me they out right suck! Well let's hope!
I am also a newbie to this site, and was sort of nervous to upload my pictures. But with my DH's encouragement and after what seemed like hours trying to figure out how to upload them, I did. I also participated in the vsn which was loads of fun. Here is a link to my gallery:
for all the newbies like myself...take a chance ! i did now i love uploading my cards onto scs! it's easy and everyone is very supportive. i didn't think my cards were very awesome, but i got more and more confident just from these great ladies! SO DO IT! happy stamping!

I'm with themrs - I am a total moron when it comes to technical stuff. I do not know how to use my scanner (I can't do it at work, either). Someone actually has to show me how to do something. Once I actually do it, I can remember it. I cannot "read the manual" or follow someone else's instructions. I will continue to lurk and enjoy.
I keep reading how beautiful the cards in attachments are, but all I am seeing is a box labeled attachments but no thumbnails. Can someone tell me how to fix this
Sandy
hmmm.... I really don't know why you can't see the attachments. You might try PM'ing 'camsmom' and asking her. She is one of the moderators and super nice and very helpful! If you find out the answer, please post the answer here...I'm sure you are not the only one with the same question. Good luck, and keep us posted.
Okay, I am trying to post my cards and now I have about four of the same thing becasue it kept saying broke server. Her is a link to some of my stuff.
Fairly new to this so cross your fingers it works.
I am totally frustrated. I've been trying to upload a card for over an hour. I started with a condensed picture from a digital camera and it said the image was too small. I couldn't figure out how to make it big again so I just went to another card. The windows you described came up perfectly and I got to the end and hit submit, it keeps showing an error page. I've kept trying to submit and the last message I had said it wouldn't support this type of image. It's just a 3.0 mega pixel camera.
Please help. One of my summer promises was to start a gallery!
My reason for not posting? I spend ALL my time looking at EVERYONE ELSE'S amazing creations here on SCS!!!! Who has time to stamp cards when you can click "Add to favorites" and admire everyone else's creativity????? Seriously, I use time I shouldn't just to be on here (see the thread I started about being addicted to SCS). My DH keeps asking me when the heck I'm going to start USING all the stamps I have accumulated over the last 2 years! I do, I do, honest!! As soon as my hubby hooks up our scanner I'll give it a whirl, k gals???
I've uploaded 1 card so far but I have made a lot more than that - LOL. I guess there are 2 reasons why I haven't uploaded others is 1. A lot of the cards I have made were case'd from here and 2. other cards were made with non-SU items some even without stamps. Any advice from the wonderful ladies here on what to do?
I absolutely love this website and like others, I like to look at people's creations, but too nervous to share mine, so here it goes, I have 2 in my gallery. I actually stamped my new "office" so I will have to upload those pictures and get critiqued(sp?).
I'm a newbie too. I love looking at everyone's creations. You are all so talented. My dd has the scanner at school, I'll have her bring it home the next time she comes home. She can hook it up and show me how to upload cards.

Thanks, I just tried to pm camsmom and got an error message something about her not receiving messages. Maybe someone els knows an answer or has a suggestion...
Sandy
I seem to be learning by casing I hope you all don't mind. Even though a few are my own ideas.LOL
Thanks everyone for sharing all the lovely cards and tips, techniques and ideas!!! Every bit of it helps me make better cards. You all are stars in my book!!!

Life is too short, and there are cards waiting to be made!!!
My friend came over and showed me how to post to my new gallery (thanks Karen!!), and I've posted several things. I been thinking about doing this for a while now, so thanks for the encouragement and push.
I'm with Sandy--there are no attachments showing on this thread for me. The boxes are there, but they are empty! :( I want to see the pretty cards, too!

Beth--I'll keep watching and maybe the attachments will reappear at some point. Thank you for doing this!! You are being so fabulous to encourage others in this way, and giving so much instruction and feedback! Kudos!!

I am with chickers -- will post some pics once the gallery is up again -- not a fan club member at this time, but plan on it in the future, when finances will allow -- afterall, I am only as good as my inspiration and that is this site for the most part!!
chickers, you are right! I originally posted this thread a very long time ago, and was recently asked about it. That's why I posted to it to give it a "bump" back into circulation.
I am a fan club member and totally forgot about the limited uploading right now.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
For some reason those that posted with thumbnails I don't see the picture. I see the little box or whatever but no picture to click on to view. I would like to see what those cards look like too.
And when I have some cards made I will post them too.
Hi Beth, I have a question. I have cards already uploaded here. However, I want to move them into an album I created. Can they be moved from one place in my gallery to another? Thanks.
Here it goes.... I posted this card yesterday and when i checked it today i had 6 comments... I'm so thrilled, i'm usually here looking at everyone's beautiful creations and have people comment on your work...what a feeling...sigh =)
